Elsa's P,O.V

I walk down the steps to the first floor and make a chair. I sit down and take a deep breath. I am so stressed. With Jack being injured and unconcous, and nearly killing my brain by thinking of ideas to save him. Rapunzel could identify the poison as Cuthroat Poison. Apparently, it kills in a week. So we have three days to figure out how to save Jack. Apparently there is a cure. The cure is Nightlock. Poison vs poison. Seems logical right? I was cautious about this. Tooth and Rapunzel just left to look for nome Nightlock. I am hoping the come back fast. I stand and walk back upstairs and see Flynn napping on the couch. I don't look at Jack, knowing I would break down, as I wallk onto the balcony, closing the doors behind me. I stand there until the sun is almost set. I hear voices and look up, afraid there will be more intruders. Instead I see Tooth flying towards me while Rapunzel is walking up the path.

"We are here!" Tooth announces loudly and I smile as I turn around and walk into the second floor. We wait for Rapunzel. Flynn wakes up from the commotion. Rapunzel runs up the stairs with a small bag in her hands.

"I need to mash these up and put them in his system through the cut. This will hopefully fight the poison," Rapunzel explains as she starts mashing the berries on a leaf with a rock. I wait impatiently and can easily feel the tension in the room. Soon, Rapunzel is finished and uses a stick to put the berry juice into the cut. She finishes and sighs.

"Now, we just have to do something about the cut," she says, exhausted. Her face lights up and she jumps for her bag. I am confused by this. She pulls out a vial of golden liquid and drinks it. I wouldn't drink that if my life depended on it. When she is finished, she puts down the vial and we sit in awkward silence.

"Well," she says softly, "I guess this must take a while, so let's get something to eat!" I smile as everyone stands to leave.

"I'll stay here and keep watch," I tell them as they leave. I sigh and sit down next to Jack. I lift up the bottom of his sweatshirt and look at the cut, which is covered in bandages. I grab the first aid kit and get the thread and needle out and remove the bandages. I immdeitaly regret it. The cut is disgusting and a bit of black around it, but not a lot. The Nightlock juice must've worked. I sigh and get the thread and needle ready and wpe away the blood surrounding the area. I take a deep nervous breath. Never in my entire life could imagine myself dong this. I sigh as I reluctantly stick the needle into the skin and begin to stich the skin together. Soon, I am finished. I sigh n relief, but remember that I need to sticth up the back. I put down the needle and roll Jack over and raise the back of his sweatshire and pick the needle and string back up do the exact same thing as I did last time. After I am done, I put more bandages over it and roll Jack back onto is back. I clean up the mess and sit down on the couch. Soom, Rapunzel comes and gets me telling me that it is time to eat. I look at Jack and walk down the stairs and outside to where everyone else was congregated around a campfire, eating rabbits and squirrels. It was a good night.

Jack's P.O.V

I open my eyes slowly as I get used to the light. I try to sit up, but a pain in my stomach stops me. I sit up and lift my hoodie and see bandages. They must be important, so I don't remove them. I stay sitting for a while to get used to the feeling. When I am ready, I grab my staff, which is lying right next to me, and stand. I use my staff as support, which is needed, since I almost fall back down when  stand. It takes a few tries until I can manage to walk normally. I look around and see alot of packs and stuff. Where is Elsa? I walk around a bt, limping slightly and I get some jabs of pain every once in a while from my stomach. I hear doors opening and closing and footsteps walking up the steps. I raise my staff and aim it at the entrance to the room. I wait for what seems like forever until a girl with platnium blonde air, In a braid, wearing a blue dress wth a slit by the right leg and a cape behind her walks in. I lower my staff when I recognize her as Elsa. She seems startled by seeing me, then joy and relief spreads across her face. She walks up to me and hugs me tightly, obviously trying not to hit the wound. We hug for a while untl she steps back and crosses her arms, the joy vanshishes and is replaiced by a stern look.

"What?" I ask, confused.

"Why did you do it?" she asks.

"Do what?" I ask, getting more confused by the second.

"Take the sword for me?" she says calmly

"Oh, that," I say, "because you didn't deserve to die," I lied.

"Well, okay," she says slowly.

"What happened?" I ask

"A tiger girl broke into the castle, and she was looking to kill me then, and she launched herself at me, her sword drawn and ready. You apparently jumped in between us and took the blow yourself. A while after that, you went unconcious and I asked the tiger to kill me. She declined, saying that you died protecting me, and she was going to honor that and that she respects you," Elsa explains, looking away, "so, then she left. A while later, Rapunzel and Flynn arrived and so did Toothiana. You were out for a few days and then Rapunzel said that the sword blade was poisoned. We had to enter Nightlock poison into your system to save you. Then, I stitched the cuts back up and now we are here," I listen carefully.

"Where are the others?" I ask.

"Outside, eating, I finished a while ago and came up here to sleep," Elsa says and sits on the couch. I walk over and sit next to her. She looks down at the floor. I wrap my arms around her and hug her, knowing she was about to cry.

"You will be fne," I tell her, "I'm here now, alive," she shakes her head.

"It was my fault you got hurt," she says, voice cracking, "if I didn't kill Mantis, then you wouldn't have gotten stabbed,"

"Hey, if you didn't kill Mantis, we would be out there, cold and alone with no shelter," I say, "you did the right thing, Els," she remains silent as tears silently roll down her cheeks. I pull her closer and do somethng I have never done before. I kssed Elsa on the top of her head as she continues to cry silently. Before I know it, Elsa has fallen asleep. I yawn as I close my eyes and fall asleep as well, with Elsa in my arms.
