Leyla's POV

It's Tuesday, and I'm bored, even while eating breakfast. I can't believe I woke up earlier than my sister—exactly 6:30. I even had to pour cold water on her face just so she would cook me food.

"Do you always have to dress like that?" Xiana asked, looking at my outfit with disgust. I just rolled my eyes at her.

"I'll give you some credit for the booties, though," she said, taking a sip of her coffee while I drank my tea.

"So what are you going to do today?" I asked her. She grinned. Oh no.

"Well, I met someone at the shop yesterday, and we talked, and then—"

I cut her off with a hand. "Wait, hold your horses. You met a guy, and you talked? I think I know where this is going..." I smirked, and she rolled her eyes.

"Yeah, but you don't know the whole story yet." My phone alarm went off, signaling it was time to go. Yes, I have an alarm now. I never want to be humiliated in class again by that stupid Mrs. Winters.

"Well, I have to go now. But you still didn't answer my question." I stood up and crossed my arms.

She gave me a sheepish smile. "I'm going to work. I had to change my schedule because I'm having trouble with homework and sleep, alright?" I nodded, making a face that told her I didn't believe it.

"Alright, have it your way then." I walked out of the house, put my Beats headphones on, and hit play on "Classic" by MKTO. I hummed along with the beat. "You're over my head, I'm out of my mind. Thinking I was wrong, in the wrong time..." I sang some of the lyrics but was interrupted when someone shouted my name. My headphones are so soundproof that I was surprised I could hear him. I took them off and turned around. It was Luke.

When he finally got in front of me, he bent over to catch his breath. "Hey there, can I come with you?" he asked breathlessly.

I raised an eyebrow. "Erm... I'm going to my school, not yours...?"

He smiled and put an arm around my shoulders. "Surprisingly, my mom transferred me to your school. So yeah, I might have to come with you every morning and every afternoon."

I was already annoyed by his behavior. "First off, get the fuck away from me." I removed his arm and stepped away from him. "Second, I don't like your attitude right now, to be honest. You don't want me to get pissed off by you." I muttered and continued on my way.

"Okay, I'm sorry about that, and please forgive me?" he pleaded. I made a thinking face.

I sighed. "Alright, I forgive you, but there are... circumstances." I gave him a sheepish smile, and he grinned.

"What is it then?"

I smirked.

"LEYLA, YOU BETTER STOP THIS OR SO HELP ME I WILL SLIT YOU INTO PIECES!"

I giggled at his reaction. "I don't think so..." He kept struggling with the rope while I recorded a video of him. Told you never to mess with me, I thought.

"How did you even get me into this without me knowing?" he asked, struggling again. I just shrugged.

"Say, 'Leyla is the awesome person ever and she can handle anyone,'" I quoted.

He rolled his eyes.

"Say it or I will post this on YouTube—"

"LEYLA IS THE AWESOMEST PERSON EVER AND SHE CAN HANDLE ANYONE!" he shouted. I smirked and turned off the video camera.
