Chpt #8 What I've Lost is Returned

Levi's POV

"Ughh...." I groan in pain as I sat up from the couch. I looked around my surroundings.

It's quiet, too quiet. what time is it anyways? I stood and walked to Louisa's room. She wasn't there though. Did she already left? Tch, I guess I haven't sleep a lot for days, I overslept this time.

I washed my face and changed my clothes that I got in my old drawer of clothes. Just a normal polo and a jacket to complement it. I didn't have time to pack, that's why I had to wear my old clothes years ago.

Louisa told me about her plans, to divide the group so we won't get caught. I must say she has grown a lot. It's so sad I didn't watch her grow up.....tch. Forgot we have to pick up Hanji to....I'm sure Louisa must be waiting for me already to go to Trost.

I hurriedly left the house, my mouth covered by a black handkerchief, to disguise myself of course. I'm sure I know the way back. The roads and allies her are familiar but I forgot where they are leaded to or what. Heading to the base was hectic, with all the military soldiers looking for the Louisa, they surrounded almost the entire city. What can you say... Louisa said she was wanted for 1.5 Billion dollars or maybe even more.

(DK- Let's just say dollars, cause I don't know what kind of money they use)

I successfully got in, without being caught. When I arrived, I saw Mikasa and Eren already packing.

"Captain Levi, morning Sir." Liyah said as she noticed me.

"Leaving already?" I asked.

"Yah, that's what Louisa said." Mikasa answered.

"I see, make sure the cabins clean." I said as I left to the halls. 

"Louisa said the same thing" Liyah whispered, but I heard it.

"Yes Sir!" they all replied.

I found Louisa with Jack again. I know him, but I never knew they're this close. Tch....

"Louisa." I called.

She turned around and say me, "Aniki, your awake...things are going smoothly today." she reported.

"I can tell, what about Hanji?" I asked.

"Oh yeah, I told Yuki one-chan to past a message in Trost  for the other team to pick up Hanji and arrive her here." She replied.

''Team?" Me and Jack accidentally said in unison.

"Ahh.... of course. I have a outpost in Trost." Louisa answered.

"An outpost? I've never heard that yet, no one went out the underground." Jack replied.

"The members were actually the servants of Benjo, I shut him down and took over his gang." she explained..

Every time Louisa explains and tells about her stories and facts about her, I just stare at her, head to toe....wondering how my dearest little sister has already grown up. She experienced life without me, suffered without me, won and lose without me. If only I can go back through time and make  better change. Would there be a chance when she was with us? maybe me, Farlan, Isabel and Louisa might even live in the surface together. She would be there and a very fine....house......waiting.....and.....waiting for my return.........she might have a happy life.

"Aniki??"

I pooped out of my thoughts and saw Louisa waving a hand in front of me, "What are you doing?" I asked.

"You were spaced out." Louisa answered.

"It's nothing...so when will Hanji be here already?" I asked.

"Maybe after 20 minutes." Louisa replied.

"Oh yah, Jack take this map to Mikasa and the others" I watched Louisa gave the scrolled old paper to Jack. He just nodded and left.

But even if I didn't see Louisa grow up, it was worth it that she was alive after all. I lost her once, and I won't let her out of my sight again. I'll make sure to keep my promise this time.

"Um...Aniki? Wanna take a stroll?" Louisa asked.

"Why not." I answered.

Both of us walked around the buiding, talking about random stuff, some about what she did when I was gone and I did the same.

"Though you've change." I said.

''what do you mean by that?" she looked at me with her eyes only.

"You hid you sweet side." I answered.

I looked at her and she blushed looking away.

"S-sweet side?!? um....." she couldn't find any comebacks.

"You have a tough attitude but when you were young, but you don't smile that often anymore." I answered.

"You too, you know." She replied.

"I guess we both changed because of what we happened in the past." I said as I stopped on my tracks. I looked outside the window, where all the dirty people walk.

"Smile more often again." I ordered.

"....I don't know, I having trouble smiling to people." she scratched her head and turned away.

"Why?" I asked.

"I don't know, it's just feels embarrassing." she replied.

I turned around and faced her, "Embarrassing huh?" I mocked.

"You don't smile either too you know." she crossed her arms...and wait did she just puffed her cheek?

"Well there is nothing to smile about..." I replied.

"It seems unfair." she said.

"Why don't you smile too? Show it to the others...they'd be completely shock." she smirked.

"So you don't smile but you smirk?" I raised an eyebrow.

"smirk is not even a smile." she answered and then she leaned on the wall beside me

"I don't usually smile...but I show my smile to only few people.....but I still don't." She said.

"That doesn't make any sense." I replied. 

"Tch, let's just go.... they might be waiting for us' she stood straight and then she started walking. She has grown....but still shorter than me. Thank god.

"It would be nice to see smile again, though" I said....purposely loud to hear.

When I looked up, She turned her head and gave a sweet smile.........

She looks like mom......

I'll protect you.....and make sure no one takes you away for now, your too young to get married....now three guys are chasing you...tch.
