No Food Shall Not Be Wasted

"MEAT!!" Sasha shouted as she stared at here plate in awe.

"Did the the old-geezer ate something or what?" asked Connie.

"I never thought we would never eat meat in this trainee camp," Jean said to himself.

Everyone in the Cafeteria were shock to see one steak of meat on their plates. Never knew this day would come since they haven't tasted not even a sliver of meat in their mouths for a long time.

"Maybe it's a reward since we all caught those bandits in the forest in our trip," answered Armin.

Louisa sighed, "Stop staring at your food and just eat," she ate a piece of her meat.

"B-but it feels like it would be a waste! But I'm hungry!!" Sasha grasped her head in confusion on what to do.

"It would be such a waste just to leave it, plus Sir. Shadis gave this for us. He would want us to savor it," Liyah told the others as she cut her meat to pieces.

"Just like Liyah said, quit talking and just eat," Eren answered as he started eating.

Everyone agreed and started eating happily. Most of them ate their meat like it was the only food left in the planet, others ate it slowly savoring the taste and few ate like a normal person.

"Hey! Pass me the sauce Liyah!" Sasha shouted who  sat at the end of the table.

"Here you go!" Liyah grabbed the small bottle container, stood up and threw the small bottle container to Sasha. Quickly Sasha brought out her hands and successfully caught it.

"Thanks!" Sasha laughed out of shock.

"No problem," Liyah sat down and was excited to eat her food.

"That was a nice throw, you sure got  a good arm Liyah," commented Armin as he ate his food across Liyah.

From embarrassment she replied, "T-that was nothing! Come on? Everyone can do that."

"You have good arms,especially when you punch, who taught you?" Mikasa asked.

The people who sat on the same table with her paid close attention for an answer. Except Louisa and Shinami, they didn't mind the tension.

"S-someone taught me, he was like a dad to me. He's tall, buff, kind and strong. He took care of me when I was accepted in Louisa's...family," she explained as she shyly played with her food.

"He seem's like a cool guy," Armin smiled.

"He is," Liyah smiled back at him.

"Well, enough chit-chat for now. Liyah, you haven't eaten anything yet," Louisa pointed out as she destroyed the sweet aura of the two.

"R-r-right! Food! Hahaha..." Liyah realized she was starring at Armin for a long time and immediately turned away.

Liyah was about to eat when someone suddenly pushed her from behind.

"YOU SUICIDE BASTARD!!" they typical two boys fought again and this time it was over a slice of meat. Jean grabbed Eren's collar as Eren grabbed Jean's as well. Eren was the person who pushed Liyah from behind.

Before Louisa could even kick their balls, Reiner came into the scene to stop them. Louisa sighed and faced Liyah who was tearing up.

"What are you crying for?"Louisa raised an eyebrow.

Liyah faced Louisa as she tried to suppress her tears. Mostly everyone stopped again and gave their attention to Liyah.

"T-t-the..." Liyah was stuttering.
