Prologue
ON A NIGHT OF SNOW, Gellert Grindelwald, just the most dangerous dark wizard of all time, second only to Voldemort, stood in St. Jerome's Graveyard in Godric's Hallow, West Country. In his arms, was an asleep newborn baby girl wrapped in a thin blanket. Stood beside him, was a four years old boy. He was his son, elder brother to the infant in the man's arms. Draco, or 'Drake'.
Grindelwald was a fairly tall and thin man. He had platinum blonde -almost white- hair that was shaved on both sides of his head and a thin mustache above his lips. His eyes, they were unique, divergent. They had different color. His right was grey while the other was dark grey, dark grey that looked like black compared to his right. He wore a white shirt, tucked in his pants, a black velvet vest over it and a big black coat with a hood which looked like a cloak instead. The hood was up, covering half of his face.
The little boy tucked on the helm of his sleeves and looked up at him with his enormous grey eyes, the color was inherited from his father's right eye. Grindelwald look down at him, his gaze softened at the sight of the innocent young boy, his own son. "Are you leaving us?" He asked, he didn't dare to call the man 'Father', or words that meant 'Dad' in anyway. The man scares him sometimes, especially his icy cold gazes. The man crouched down to the boy's level and looked at him straight into his eyes, "I'll be away for a while. You'll be with your great great aunt, Aunt Batty. She'll take very good care of you and your sister." Just as he was about to stand up again, the boy stopped him, "Wait! You haven't told me her name." The man glanced at the boy and stared at the infant. "Her name is Dione Nemesis Grindelwald." The boy grinned at his new sister.
They walked to the house of Bathilda Bagshot, Grindelwald's great aunt. It was a surprise to Bathilda that Grindelwald came. She didn't expect him to, when he left to hunt down the Deathly Hallows. Grindelwald handed her the infant carefully. And the boy went with her. He said his last goodbye to the man. "Will you ever come back?" He asked, The man only replied, "We'll see." With that, he disapparated away before Bathilda could say something.
