Chapter 5 The Wagners Twins

THE NEXT MORNING DIONE WOKE UP, finding the girls were gone. She changed into her uniform with new tie and walked downstairs. She saw people actually chilling in the common room. Some talking, some studying, some reading, and some reading news paper. On the way to the Great Hall, she got stares and glares. 'They'll get used to it.' She rolled her eyes and assured herself, that there's nothing to worry. And when she entered the hall, people stared at her in a disgusted manner. She wondered, if people are always like this. Or is it just Hogwarts students, or maybe British. After all, most of the Durmstrang students are Bulgarian and most others are from Northern Europe.

As soon as she sat down, she ate a lot since she didn't yesterday. There were people who were gossiping, just like yesterday. Especially people around Dione. She thought it was nothing at first, but she saw the headline of the newspaper.

GELLERT GRINDELWALD'S ESCAPE

It is confirmed, that Dark Wizard Gellert Grindelwald has escaped from Nurmengard on 1st September Wednesday, 1976.

Dione didn't want to finish reading the article. She glanced at Annabeth, then looked up from the news paper and saw people looking at her as if implying her to leave, she widened her arms and dropped them in annoyance. She walked to Professor McGonagall, who was distributing timetables to the students who arrived. "I'm sorry Professor, is it okay if I take my time table now?" Dione asked. "Of course." Professor McGonagall handed her her timetable. Dione mumbled a thank you and left the hall as soon as she can. She started to wonder around the castle since she's new and thought it was a good idea. Double Defense Against the Dark Arts. "Great." She gritted her teeth and hissed.

It was bad enough to learn how to defense the subject her old school... Emphasized on teaching. From one of her father's enemies, the son of his 'once friend, now enemy' as Dione put it. But there is something bothering Dione. It's not easy for someone to escape from prison. No one's ever done it. You might think it's possible since Gellert Grindelwald is 'the most dangerous dark wizard of all time'. But he is at least... 93 years old. People can live long, but escaping from prison at the age of 93? That sounded ridiculous. And if you do the calculations correctly, you'll found out he was 77 years old when Dione was born. Unless, he made a horcrux. Then that'd be reasonable. She wasn't really looking where she was heading when she bumped into someone. She saw that person has a green and silver tie.

"I'm sorry." She muttered, "It's fine." The person said softly, it appeared to be a male Slytherin. Dione was surprised, the way The Marauders described Slytherin, was totally different. She took a look of the person's physical features. He had haughty good looks, fair skin and lustrous black hair. Dione stared at his striking grey eyes with her own darker ones. There was something strange about him. Until reality hit them, they both sprinted away quickly.

Dione went to the third floor, Serpentine Corridor, Classroom 3C. She knocked on the door three times and went inside. Dione was the first to arrive the D.A.D.A. classroom. She took a look around the room before taking a seat at the very corner of the room and sat down. 'Sigh... It has to be Lynch for the first lesson.' Dione thought. "Can't blame you for disliking Lynch, huh?" A voice came from behind. Dione turned to look to see a pretty Ravenclaw girl.

She had dirty blonde hair tied in a ponytail and icy blue eyes. Her height was average. Her skin was a light tan. She had quite a well built body for a girl. Perhaps, from doing sports. When Dione took in her features, she saw her eyelashes were full and natural. But Dione could see the girl applied small amount of make up despite Dione know nothing of it. She seemed a bit rebellious for a Ravenclaw. Her collar button was open, her tie was a bit lose. She also rolled her sleeves up to her ankles. And her shoes. They weren't normal leather shoes you wear for school. She wore some , with heels.
