God Save The Prom Queen

     I screamed for help, upon seeing him. I had to do something. But I felt paralyzed. Useless to remember what the procedure was for bleeding out.
        
      It was horrific. Rex sat there lying on the floor bleeding out, In front of me and I was unable to do anything. I turned my head to try and look away from his bloody body. But it did not help. If anything it made it worse. In blood on the walk was the message "God save the joker." It was bright red. "How could someone do such a horrible thing?" I wondered.
    Just then Carmen came dashing in. She was moving so fast that she looked more like a black and white blob than a human. Alice came up behind her. She stop next to me to catch her breath. She had never been athletic.
"Stop being so fast,Carmen." She complained.
    "Give me your coat, Levi" Carmen ordered. I turned to see Levi just entering the section of the hallway.
   "Okay,"He muttered. He took off his and handed it to her. It almost seemed reluctant. Like it was his favourite jacket.
      I must have looked pretty scared. Because Alice gave me a big hug. I didn't like hugs. But I felt powerless to stop it. It didn't enjoy the feeling. Being squeezed tightly. Alice was warm which didn't help I felt quite sweaty already. I aways like being in control. Alice aways said that it was because I was a natural born leader. But I never believed her. This just proved it. Someone was dying and could only stand there and watch.
   I look at Alice she still had not let go. She was hugging quite tightly. I started to question whether she was hugging me to make me feel better or to make her feel better.
"Please let go." I murmured to Alice. She did. Her phone buzzed less then a second later. She grabbed my wrist and bolted down the hallway dragging me behind.
"Where are we going?"I asked. Stumbling along behind her.
"To get results."she responded cheerfully. It was honestly kind of creepy. But I knew she was just trying to cheer me up. So I went with her. Though honestly I just wanted to escape.
