Never get caught up in the moment. It an important lesson. You let your guard down for a second and horrible things happen. It a lesson you don't want to learn the hard way.
The noise consumed the room. As Alice sang "Don't fear the reaper" by Blue oyster cult . Lucky us the walls where so thick. Or we bother everyone else. If they weren't to busy at their own sleepover. Seems the idea wasn't just ours.
"You're turn," Natalie cheered handing me the mic.
"Skip me,I'm going to grab some chips," I said standing up.
"I'll come." Stated Lizzy.Lizzy was pretty cool and gorgeous. Her bright red hair and freckled ivory skin. Was beautiful and she was nice. Pretty much the perfect person. I was so lucky to have her as a friend.
We walked down the halls. They felt so empty. Yet not. The seemed to watch. Like they were waiting to attack. That absurd I told myself. Which was true. But didn't stop the sinking feeling in my gut.
"I going to us the restroom, don't wait for me," Lizzy remarked while she walk into the washroom.I went on. Every part felt uneasy. Like something monstrous was going to happen.I ignored it kept going. Before I knew it I was waiting in the cafeteria. I checked the time I had been waiting for 10 minutes. Something was wrong. I went the to the bathroom to check. I had only wished I got there sooner.
It was the weird smell that caught my attention first. Next as the body she was sprawled out on the floor, wrists slit. Her face relaxed like she was sleeping. It reminds me of the stain glass window in church. Where Jesus is in the cross.
On the mirrors written in blood were the words "God save the beauty queen" it got more horrific the long I looked at it. It just slowly dripped down. The bad feeling in my gut was gone and replaced with a feeling of helplessness.
I ran to her side. Kneeling down to check her pulse. She was still breathing. Just like Yuki. It was clear we were dealing with a serial killer. Or serial attacker since no one has died yet. And never if had anything to say about it. I Called out for help. Not sure what to do. Nobody probably hear me. I didn't have a phone. Do I run and get help or stay here with her. She was doomed and it was my fault. I looked down only to see my baggy shirt. I took it off immediately and ripped in two and started applying pressure. I didn't care about dignity anymore. I kept screaming for help.
I felt hot tear fall down my cheeks. I tried to get it to stop. I had to save her I couldn't cry. But they were relentless and I was soon a sobbing mess.
"Come on ,Lizzy. You can't die like this." I sobbed. "Don't leave me alone, wake up."
My arms start to lose strength and hurt. I couldn't do this much longer.
That's When Levi came running in dressed in all black. His clothes look wet in certain places.
"Whoa," he gasped. Pulling out his phone calling the cops. When he got done with the call. He started taking pictures.
"Why in hell name are you taking pictures."I bellowed angrily. He looked confused and started pushing is blond hair back.
"Stop taking pictures," I ordered "And delete the ones you have now." He looked like he was thinking. He looked at my chest then at my face. If Lizzy life wasn't on the line. I would have broke his nose.
"NOW!" I thundered. I didn't mean to be bossy. But I was in a bad mood.He fumbled with the phone. The police got there just in time. I don't think I be sleeping tonight I thought as I head back to the dorm.
