I sat in the science room. Patiently waiting for the results. Jamie sat there unsure of why she was here. I had dragged her out of the crime scene. It was clear that she needed to leave the room. This was a girl who didn't know what blood was until she met me. Witnessing two almost murder site was taking a toll on her mental health. I wasn't going to let her get hurt. She kind of just stood there in panic. Her tan skin like hazelnut would turn ghostly white. She'd freeze and start fiddling around with her black hair.
"So what's the results, doc?"I asked. Janna turned around hoped into the wheelchair and rolled in front of me.
"Well." She started."The messages were not written in the victims blood. However it is the same blood type.""Hmmm, so the killer wanted it to be fast and showy." I thought out loud.
"I also believe that he used gas to knock out or a least make them in able to move. But with the equipment I have I can't be sure."she added.
"You're missing huge question." Jamie burst." Like where did it get the blood?" How did it know there blood type?"she seemed quite agitated. But that should be expected with all that has happened. Everyone was very uneasy and quick to anger.
"Thanks guys this was really useful."I remarked leaving the room.
I walked outside. The chilly wind blew at my hair. It was cold. But I should have expected that being mid autumn. I took my pink sweater that was tied around my waist and slip it over top. It felt uncomfortable with long sleeves. Even if they were rolled up. But that was the uniform. Today I didn't where it completely. I just wore the white pin up shirt and the blue and black plaid skirt. I was happy that I didn't have to where the stiff coat, tights and dress shoes. I walked through yard to get to the dorms. Seven crows flew away from my path. I stopped and watched.
"devil birds,"
Later that night
"It's 11:00." Jamie complained. Usually me use my computer late at night didn't bother her.. But as I said everyone was quick to anger. I went to bed so she'd stop nagging me.
I couldn't sleep. So I just lied there thinking. Some of the pieces just didn't fit. If the killer didn't use a gas or not out. Why did they not scream when attacked?
But if it did use knock out gas why go through all the trouble of just slitting their wrist and wait for them to bleed out. It clearly want his victims to die slowly and painfully. It didn't make sense. This killer seems to have no purpose for killing these people. Or at least not one that was obvious.
I rolled over and looked a my clock. The bright red numbers read12:45. I was up too late. I looked around my room. Nothing was out of the ordinary. Yet it seemed so scary. Then again I'm a wimp. So I guess I shouldn't talk. Everything seems scary to me. Especially right now. I looked back at the clock 1:24 it read. I rolled back over burying my head under the covers, falling asleep.
