"You know what, if I'm not appreciated here then I'll just go. Come on, ki-...Nevermind."
Anti waves his hands and disappears without a clue as to where.

Maybe if you remembered more, you would know.
But he seemed unpleasant, so you thought against the idea.

"I'm sorry about him..."
Jack mumbles, feeling more annoyed than concerned about Anti.

Wait, why were you feeling concerned about Anti?
Was it normal for you to feel concerned about him?

"I think I'm Y/n."
You try to smile in response, but your throat goes against that plan.
It burns so badly, your eyes water whilst your coughing.

The pain made you collapse onto the floor, so Jack ran to get you a water bottle.
He came back and gave you the bottle, already opened.

Thankfully, you take a large gulp of water. It almost instantly soothes the pain and cools it down.
You take a few more for good measure.

"Better?"
Jack helps you up, smiling lightly.

"Thank you."
You reply, returning his smile.

It felt good to talk again.

Although your voice sounded slightly hoarse.

"Are you hungry?"
Jack steps away from you, probably towards the kitchen.

"I just want to know what's going on."
You tell him truthfully and he nods in understanding.

"I've got something that I have to... finish."
He excuses himself and walks into a room, closing the door.

This leaves you to wonder around the house freely.
No Anti to pull you around, and no Jack to show you around.

You found the kitchen, bathroom, living room, and multiple corridors.

Deciding to settle down in the living room, you seated yourself comfortably on a sofa.
There was nothing to do, but it was much comfier than the hard floor from the dark room.

The image of you breaking your flesh crept back into mind.
In this vision, your eyes looked empty and your teeth weren't so white.
You sank said teeth into your wrist, causing a hot,
burning pain to erupt.
But this version of you kept biting, until it could rip a big chunk off of your wrist.

It was a horrifying sight, you shook all over again and sobbed slightly.
You tried to get rid of the image, but it wasn't so easy this time.
Your sobs turned into audible wails, similar to those in the rooms underneath you.

Or where they under you anymore?

It didn't matter.
It would be useless to know.

"Hey, shh."
Jack was by your side, having heard your calls for help.
"Don't cry."

He put you into a caring hug, and you practically melted into it.
He was so warm and you were so cold, it only made sense.

So why didn't it feel right?

"Get away from her."
Anti's voice had suddenly appeared, not sounding friendly at all.
"Now."

Jack hesitated, but unfortunately complied.

"Anti?"
You hated the fact that it sounded as if you were pleading.
You weren't.

"I'm here."
Anti faintly pushed passed Jack.

This wasn't right.
This definitely wasn't right.

But you leaned into him anyway.
He was cold. Colder than you.

This shouldn't feel right...
