"Don't be so nice to yourself."
You fire back with a roll of your eyes.
"I don't fuck up often."
Anti defends himself, adding a defeated huff.
"I, uh... got too attached to this version of you... so when you died... I may have.."
He mutters the ending, looking away.
"You may have.... what?"
You ask, leaning in to hear him better.
He takes a moment to turn back to you, and another moment to look directly at your eyes.
"The bond between souls allows the magic to pass through a kind of passage... I opened this passage.. and you're probably part demon now... and I'm probably part human."
Anti tried to smile, but decides against it.
"So.. you're stronger than most demons. Which would explain Dark's visit."
He continues to talk, directing his gaze away from you and to something behind you.
"But he's always tried to make me jealous..."
"Thats.. great. But what now?"
You watch Anti, waiting for an answer.
He always knows what to do.
"I... don't."
He struggles to speak, before turning one of his emotions towards you. Anger.
"I don't fucking know, okay?!"
You lean back, giving him space to calm down.
"There's a lot on my mind, I can't think if you're constantly thinking shit! I'm sorry if I seem like a piece of crap, but I fucked up and I don't know how to fix this!"
Anti stands up and grips the chair, his anger dissolving into sadness. His usually black eyes change into green and blue. They seemed to glow slightly.
"A..And this human bit is playing with my mind. All these... feelings that I haven't felt in so long are all rushing in and suddenly I feel bad for killing someone.. I don't know what to do.. I'm sorry."
Anti stares at you for a bit more before wiping a tear away and sadly laughing.
"I haven't cried in so long.."
he's falling even further..
Feeling slightly bad for the trembling figure before you, and understanding why he snapped, you wrapped him into a warm hug.
"You'll think of something.. it'll be fine.."
You say in the sweetest voice possible.
I hope...
"I hope so, too."
Anti mumbles, hugging you back softly.
