"D-Delusions?"
You take a step back, thinking.Of course, how else would you be able to love Jack and Wilford?
"S-So you lied to me?"
You direct yourself to Anti."No! They're the ones who're lying to you!"
Anti jabs a finger at Dark, then looks to Marvin.
"I thought you didn't know what's happening, how did you know to hold me back?""And you can be sure of this."
You ignore him and turn back to Dark.
"Definitely?"Dark nods, watching your reaction carefully.
"He's changed the story so many times, it's impossible to know the original. And by making himself human, he's successfully taken your soul, in a way.""He lied to me..."
You mutter to yourself, feeling anger and bitterness. Everything you know since the time you woke up in that room has been a lie. That's why he didn't want you remembering anything, it would be easier for him to manipulate you."I'm sorry. I caught on too late."
Dark apologetically looks to you."Thanks."
You numbly respond, walking out of the room to clear your head."Y/N!"
Anti calls out to you, but you had no interest in listening to him right now."Fucking dick."
You quietly say to yourself, once out of the building.Your thoughts start to swarm you with his lies, his manipulative techniques. He tricked you into thinking he cared for you as a person, but instead his sights were on your soul. Nothing else. At sometime you must have started crying.
"Y/n?"
You hear Wilford's voice as he places a hand on your shoulder. You step back, looking up to him."You haven't been honest with me, either."
You comment to yourself, mainly."Which I'm sorry for, your head was completely focused on Anti for some reason."
Wilford keeps the comfortable distance."Turns out, he lied about everything."
You find yourself telling him the truth."That's probably an exaggerat-"
"Why didn't you send him back to hell that day."
You wipe a loose tear away."He wasn't hurting you."
Wilford replies, a confused look on his face."He was planning to."
You look behind you, expecting Anti to run to you, like he would usually be. He'd hate for you to be alone with someone else.
"Can you take me far from here?""Sure, where to?"
Wilford doesn't press you for answers he's clearly wants."I don't care."
You grab onto the hand that he offered you.
"Anywhere."
