It had been a while since Anti had just disappeared on you.
You were ignoring the feelings of regret and instead focused on Jack.

"You don't mind if I stay here?"
This had been a question that was swimming inside your head for a bit.

"Oh... I didn't even think about that. It just felt like you belonged in here... sorry. You can stay here if you want."
Jack ran a hand through his hair.
"But the only spare room I have is the one that Anti uses sometimes."

"That's okay."
You say, almost too casually.
"I mean, its really nice of you."

He just nods his head.
It looked like something was on his mind.
You were the only thing that he was staring at, lost in his thoughts.

"Jack?"
You lift an eyebrow.
"You okay?"

"Hmm? Oh, yeah, sorry."
He shakes his head lightly.
"Just thinking."

"About what?"

"About the fact that I just really want to... I don't even know. It's stupid anyway."
He rambles, turning a slight shade of red. It was adorable.
"Can I kiss you?"

Jack said that once before, but you force the memory away and concentrate on the present.

"K-Kiss me?"
The question took you by surprise.

Jack nods, face as red as a beetroot.
"I don't know why, I just feel like we know each other like that... before Anti wiped the memories of knowing each other. You know? Why else would he do that? And-"

You had to try distracting yourself from Anti, and stop Jack's rambling, so you kissed him.

There was a delayed response, but he soon joined in.

There was something missing.
It was great, but it wasn't Anti.

Unfortunately, you pulled away.
Mainly because you were disgusted with yourself.

"That..."
Jack leans back.
"Was okay."

You felt bad because you couldn't agree, but you nodded your head anyway.

"Where's the spare room?"
It sounded too forced.
"I'm just really tired."

Jack's smile faltered a bit, but he obliged and took you to the bedroom.

"Here you go."
He opened the door.

The room looked simple.

"Thank you."
You stepped into the room.

"If Anti's giving you trouble, just call for me, okay?"
Jack needed reassurance.

"Sure."
Your answer was short, but enough to convince Jack that it was okay.

He bites his lips and nods, then closes the door.

The bed was really soft, you didn't even realise that you fell asleep until a loud noise woke you up.

The room was softly lit so you easily spot Anti at the door.
He just stared at you.

"Anti?"
You mutter quietly, hoping to get a reaction.

"What are you doing in my room?"
Anti gets straight to the point.

"I was tired... I'm sorry."
You weren't scared of him anymore.

"Don't apologise, it was just a question."
He chuckles, climbing into the bed with you.

"What are you doing?"
You budge over to give him some space.

"We didn't get to finish."
He pulls you back towards him.
A shiver travels down your spine.

"Jack's in the house."
You remind him.

"I know. He isn't a child."
Anti sits up.
"I think he'll know when to stay away."

"He doesn't know about... whatever this is."
You watch Anti huff in annoyance.

"So?"
Anti places his hands either side of your head, now above you.
"You belong to me, not him."

"Since when?"
You challenge him.

"Since now."
Anti leans in again.

This time, you closed your eyes instantly.
