Ap Government will be the death of me.
Requested- I hope you enjoy :)

The loud music drowned out anyone's thoughts, they were all to drunk or high to give a damn about what they were doing. They lived life in the moment.

I sat on the couch, the empty dirty couch. A few feet away from me my boyfriend Monty stood swaying side to side like an idiot, I couldn't help but laugh.

Monty motions towards we, begging me to dance with him. I laugh and shake my head. He gives up and sits down next to me on the couch.

"Are you having fun?" Monty practically yelled in my ear.

I shrug, "it was fun watching you dance, but I can't hear myself think."

Monty nods towards the back door, "shall we go outside."

I nod happily, I needed to hear myself think. Monty took my hand and we weaved our way through the crowd of drunken idiots.

Finally we made our way outside, and finally I could hear myself think.

"Now that you can finally think, I hope those thoughts are about me," Monty laughs.

I press into Monty's side as he wraps his arms arms around me and we sat there in bliss.

I laugh to myself, "such a flirt," I mumble.

He laughs to.

The music was still ringing in my head but it began to fade. Other people were gathered out back, amerced in their own conversations.

A slight breeze picks up casing a shiver to run down my spine.

"Are you cold?" Monty looks down at me.

"No idiot I just like to shiver randomly, yes!! I'm cold."

He laughs pulling out his car keys, them making a slight noise.

"Here, my letterman is in the back go grab it."

I smile and give him a small kiss before leaving his side. I hum some random tune to myself as I walk to Monty's car. It seemed to get colder with every passing step.

After successfully getting Monty's jacket I lock his car and begin to waltz back to the backyard. My steps being completely out of line with the music playing inside.

When I open the gate my eyes instantly snap to Monty, but it wasn't just Monty, it was Monty and a girl.

He laughed and then she laughed and the music that once filled me was drained, gone my mind was a ghost town.

But that sadness was filled with anger, and that I couldn't contain. I stop towards the girl and Monty, my anger bubbling.

My heels were loud against the pavement and Monty looked up as well as the girl before I arrived.

The girl had a sick smile on her face, she knew what she was doing and she was enjoying every moment of it.

"Hey baby, are you warm now?" Stupid Monty always so oblivious.

I smile and him and nod then my attention turns back to the girl.

"Hi I'm Madison," the brunette girl holds out her hand.

"Goodbye, I'm Maxine " I wave my hands signaling for her to go.

The girl looked at me a little taken back but she continued.

"I don't know why you are being so rude I'm being friendly," the girl grits her teeth trying not to yell.

I throw my hands up into the air, "I'm sorry but you must not know me I don't spend my time getting to know girls who try to steal other girls boyfriends, so if you will just let us be and go bother someone else that would be lovely," my hands were in fists.

The girl let out a growl and the next thing I knew her hand had made contact with my face, this had gotten to the point where Monty intervened.

"I want you to go right now, no one hits my girlfriend," Monty yells.

Madison looked scared and scurried off to go find another boy to bother.

Monty pulls me into his chest and lightly strokes my cheek.

"Are you okay?"

"I'll be fine," I mumble, "it's just a slap."

"You two got pretty heated there for a second," Monty laughs "I got scared for the girl."

I laugh "what can I say I'm the jealous type, no one tries to take you away from me."

Monty laughs, "Well I'm proud of you, plus you also looked pretty damn sexy angry," Monty kisses the top of my head. "So Maxine, jealous?"

I groan, "oh let it go"

"Oh honey, you know I won't let this go for a very long time."

I sigh, "I know."

"How bout this if you give me a kiss I'll let it go a little."

I laugh, "deal."

I lean in and kiss Monty as I did many times before and it still made fireworks explode.

"Better," he sighs.

I lean my head into his chest once more, "flirt," I whisper.
