After awhile of tracking down Harley, Dave found her..With John. Great.
John noticed the angel entering their famous alleyway, and a smile played on his face and he slyly walked over, his hands behind his back as his voice rang out,”Hey Dave!!”
“Hey shithead.” Dave grumbled at John, before dragging his eyes over to Harley with greeted him with a wave. The angel didnt like how close John was to him, but everytime he’d take a step to the side, John would just mimic.
“Hey Dave! Find out whats up with Rose?” Jade’s smile made him feel guilty for saying this.
“Yeah…..She’s in h-AH!” Dave yelped out and quickly smacked John’s tail away that was poking at his rear, he growled out at the other who just rolled his eyes looking the other way, wearing a big grin on his face.
“Like I was saying before a certain someone forgot what personal space was, She’s in hell an-GOD FUCKING DAMNIT JOHN EGBERT GET YOUR TAIL THE FUCK AWAY FROM MY ASS BEFORE I SNAP IT IN HALF!” That got the tail to stop poking Dave in the butt cheek.
John made a face at the angel before sighing,”You're no fun!”
“I dont see getting poked in ass fun.” Dave grumbled at John.
“You did when you was alive.” John snapped back.
“GUYS! Just stop now.” It was pretty easily to tell that Jade was upset about the whole thing. She turn to Dave calmly,”How did she get in hell?”
“Caliborn.”
“He’s gonna have to sleep with one eye open then.” Jade made a face before shaking her head.
“Yeah..” Dave spoke, annoyance was easy to detect in his voice.
John kept poking Dave. His tail was now jabbing Dave in side. At some point, Dave was beyond done. So he did something horrible.
Dave poked John back, right in the chest, a hard jab,”I told you to STOP.”
John began to poke Dave’s side some more as spoke,”And,”Poke,”You threaten,” Poke,”to snap my,” Poke,”tail in half.” Hard poke.
Of course the pokes made Dave squirm slightly. Always having ticklish sides, Dave then jabbed his finger into John’s side making him squeal like a little girl.
The demon tackled Dave right down to the ground, starting a huge tickle fight and poking, both growling at each other to stop.
Jade gave both boys a meaningful glare before turning around to leave the two idiots alone. Done to HERE with this bullshit.
The girl with the raven hair shoved her hands into her pockets, keeping her head down as she passed mortals on the streets. Trying to keep to herself. All she wanted to do was just jump off a building over and over again. But she knew she’d never die from it.
Jade was too deep in thought to notice a girl running, passing other mortals on the busy streets. The runaway ran right into Jade, knocking them both backwards on their rears.
“HEY! Watch it.” Jade growled out at the other, she stops for second actually looking at the other.
The girl who ran into her couldn't be more older than 16. Short black hair, and big green olive eyes. A blue beanie covered the top of her head, making Jade’s eyes trail down her head to the curled tips of her messy hair. A big green trench coat made her seem small. But if you looked closely you could see that she was fairly well athletic. The girl who ran into Jade had a scared look on her face. Watery eyes and a few scratches. She was shaking hard as others just passed them. One daring to step on Jade’s hand who only just jerked it back.
Jade was the first to stand up. The demon then leaned over and offered Nepeta her hand, who gladly took it, pulling herself up off the ground. Jade gave off an adorable smile to her and the girl returned the gesture.
“Sorry..” The girl mumbled under her breath still shaking,”I need to go get help.”
“Help? For what?” Jade tilts her head to the side
“You’d think Im crazy if I told you.”
“I live with crazy everyday.” Like John or Jake.
“Well……………..Okay then..C-can you follow me?” The girl took Jade’s hand carefully, mostly for comfort.
“Sure, names Jade by the way.”
“Nepeta.” Another cute smile was played on the girl’s pale pink lips. Making the small freckles on her face light up as she blinks the big green eyes of hers. Her skin was dark compared to Jade, or at least that’s what Jade noticed as Nepeta tugged her along and into the alley.
The smell of blood and trash instantly hit Jade’s nose, making Jade draw Nepeta behind her as she approaches a body that was lying on the ground, strangled with what looks like string. The belly was cut open into the strong-looking man’s belly. His mouth was gaping open was almost turn into a smile.
Jade could hear Nepeta begin to sob grossly behind her, clinging tighter to the other as she choked out,”H-he died trying to savvee me..!!” She whailed, Jade noticed the girl had a sort of purr to her voice.
Placing a gentle hand on Nepeta’s back comfontly patting her, and letting out a smoothing hiss,”Hey, its fine. Do you know who did this?” She kept her voice soft.
“A tall man with big untamed curly hair attacked us.” Nepeta had a good grip on Jade’s arm and it was shaking and trembling,”H-he told me to run s-so I did to get help but..” The rest was mumbled when Nepeta buried her face into Jade’s chest, soaking the other’s shirt.
“Gamzee..” Jade muttered under her breath. She hates the rogue hunter working for the demons. He wasn't always like that. Gamzee Makara used to be good and often eat soper pie and talked with Tavros (a mortal with a crush on Jade). But after they made the soper pie illegal. It messed with Gamzee.
Nepeta kept her face buried as her arms snaked around Jade’s hips, trying to mute her sobs. It felt awkward but this girl just lost her (boyfriend?) friend. Jade kept rubbing the other’s back thinking,”Tell you what, we call someone to get the body and me and you can go out for something, or anything you want. My treat.” Jade gave the other a smile when Nepeta peeked out of Jade’s shirt.
“Really?”
“Mhm..”
“I want my friend back..but...Sonic sounds good at the moment.” Nepeta mumbled,”Me and him never went there.”
