After Jade got out her phone and called someone the two went out for Sonic. Jade said they should order outside so of course the two got out of Nepeta’s car that Jade drove and walked over to the tables that were set up for nature lovers.
“What do you want?” Jade questioned Nepeta, looking over the menu.
“I dunno…” Nepeta mumbled, feeling slightly better as she took a seat next to Jade.
“Well, I’m going to get a slushie! Green apple.” Nepeta nodded her head before timidly asking, ”Can I get one too?”
“Sure can.” And with that Jade ordered, and was very polite about the whole thing.
The two chatted about silly things, often letting giggles spill out of their lips, smiling up at each other, before a lady came out with a tray, carrying their slushies before setting them down on the table, along with a straw. Jade handed her the money before the lady took off.
“So he really did that?!” Nepeta asked before stabbing her slushie’s lid with a the straw and taking a long drink.
“Mhm, I’m surprised he is well...considered good today.”
“ Can I question mew?”
“Ask away!”
“What attacked my meowrail?” She gives off a pout. One thing that Jade had learn from this girl that when she feels better, she tends to use cat puns.
“A rogue hunter..”
“WHAT?! Why would a hunter attack my friend?!”
“No no. Its a hunter that hunts demons or well that hunter hunted angels, good demons and sometimes people.” Jade bites her bottom lip before adding, ”I’m a demon but a good one!”
Jade could see how unsettled Nepeta looked, the girl looked down at her feet before mumbling, ”Oh...So you are not planning to hurt me?”
“Never, you can trust me.” Jade extended a hand to Nepeta with a smile, ”If it makes you feel better I got someone taken away from me too. Dragged right down to the pits of hell.”
“But you can go visit her!”
“Not exactly….See…..I’m banished from hell and the only way I can return is if someone kills this body that I am using.”
“What?” Nepeta tilted her head to the side, clearly not understanding but trying to, ”So is it like Supernatural’s demons and angels?”
