I've always loved dressing up even though I hated the entire tedious process: picking out a dress, how to do your makeup, picking out the perfect pair of heels and most importantly styling your hair. Even though I scream my head off in frustration most of the times, the end result is always a pat on the back. Simply because I look extra hella fine and I know I look extra hella fine. Okay that and well, Lorenzo's face every time he sees me.

"You look so beautiful." Lorenzo mutters in my ear for the millionth time since he saw me. "A fücking Goddess."

I don't tell him to stop. Why would I? I may act like I'm annoyed by it but inside, I melt until my bones and brain are nothing but mush.

We were walking towards his car. It was probably one of the normal looking cars among his collection. A 1953 Studebaker Commander. It was actually my favorite too. When Lorenzo got this, it was a wreck but he cleaned it up and replaced its parts, installing a car alarm and some hi-tech stereo system.

"My Queen." Lorenzo held the door open for me with a bow and a dazzling smile that I fucking awed. After settling in, Lorenzo got in the drivers and he started the car. I turned my body to face him and my breath hitched. The light streaming through the window had Lorenzo looking like an angel.

Did I gush about how handsome he looked by the way? His wavy dark hair was looking softer in the lighting. He wore a light blue dress shirt that clung onto his upper body. Even as he shifted the gear into drive, the shirt looked as if it'd rip against his sculpted body. Overall, Lorenzo dresses great but it's really his face. Grey eyes and his stubble.

God, is it getting hot in here or just Lorenzo?

"Can't take your eyes off me, bambola?" Lorenzo smirked. My cheeks heated but you really can't blame me, can you?

"You're my man. I can stare," I replied confidently as I smiled at him. His eyes twinkled as his face lifted with admiration.

"I love it when you say these things."

     "I love you."

     "I love you more."

"Now tell me what's the surprise?!" I nudged his arm lightly.

     "Nope."

     "Please?"

     "No."

      "Fine."

Lorenzo parked down the street so we had to walk up to the first surprise. The lampposts were decorated with colorful ribbons and the pavement was colored with chalk designs. I knew it Lorenzo's doing. We stopped at a very fancy looking restaurant at the end of the street. I was about to curse at him for being so predictable in a way but I held back. It would've been stupid of me to be expecting more. In all honesty, spending time with him is all I cared about.

"I got this place rented out." He had his hand on my lower back as we strolled in. "It's just us, having dinner, talking and enjoying each other."

We passed the reception area and I was immediately blown away by the set-up. The entire restaurantwas cleared out except for a lone table placed at the center. The white marble floors were covered in flower petals of all sorts but mostly of what looked like red roses. I felt Lorenzo hold my hand but I was too baffled by the interior design of the place. Everything seemed so perfect.

Lorenzo walked ahead and I let my eyes follow. I felt my eyes well with tears and before I knew it, I was crying. My feet slowly carried me to him. As I was in arm's length of him, I threw myself onto him, latching my arms around his waist. Lorenzo stiffened when he felt my shaking form against him.

"Bri, why are you crying?" His voice was so soft and so fragile.

"I-I-You d-did this for me?" I shouldn't be like this but God. I felt bad in a way. I never really do tell Lorenzo how much I appreciate him. When he wasn't with me and with Adriano, I guess it's probably when I realized it. I never really do tell him how much I love him, how much I care.

Lorenzo turned around in my arms. I felt his lips softly on my forehead and his thick arms snaking around my form. I sniffled loudly and quite unattractively. "I'd do anything for you. You are my world, my heart, my love. I'd give up anything for you. I'd give my life for you. Brianne, you have no idea how much I love you. Words will never describe but I can show you. I can show you by loving you until the day I die."

Lorenzo pulled himself out of embrace  and got down his fücking knee. My eyes almost popped out of my head and a sob escaped as he took out a small black velvet box.

"I was waiting until we arrived at my other surprise but now seemed too precious and so emotional." I finally brought my eyes to his face and giggled. His ears, cheeks and neck was beet red, his lower lip was tucked between his teeth and his hands shaky holding onto the box.

"Brianne, marry me? Marry me and make me yours." His voice was raspy and raw with emotion. He sounded so vulnerable and heart clenching. I'd never seen him so nervous before.

I couldn't form words. Instead, I shook my head furiously while jumping into his arms and kissing the life out of him. My heart was so haywire and beating loudly. I don't think I could breathe right. We pulled back from one another after a long heated kiss. Lorenzo opened up the box and the tears wouldn't stop flowing.

The ring was everything I could dream of. It was a such a delicate looking thing. Diamonds wrapped around tinier diamonds went around the band. It was so simple but so perfect.

I let Lorenzo slip the ring on my finger and I kissed him deeply on the lips

I let Lorenzo slip the ring on my finger and I kissed him deeply on the lips. When I pulled back, I laughed at the tears that escaped his eyes but couldn't stop my heart from swelling with emotion. I wiped away his tears before mumbling I love you's over and over again. After composing ourselves, we began our early dinner.

Halfway into the meal, I started teasing Lorenzo about the proposal. His cheeks would redden and he try to hold his smile but fail. The dinner was amazing and Lorenzo and I decided to skip the second surprise since it was originally the proposal. I couldn't believe it. I am engaged. Engaged! Holy poop.

"My darling future husband," I kissed his cheek as we walked towards the car. We were a few feet away from the car when he took out the keys.

"My sweet future wife." He wrapped his arm around my waist, pressing a kiss to my forehead before pressing the car alarm.

    Then the car blew up.
