It was five in the morning when I woke up today. Waking that early was something strange as I normally slept until eight. Not being able to bear the incessant "bromance" between Lorenzo and Adriano, sleeping became this temporary little escape, thus explaining my early rise.

I shifted on the silk covered bed to face Lorenzo. It was tricky doing so since his legs were entangled with mine and our bodies were pressed against one another. Staring at Lorenzo's sleeping face was really calming in a sense. He always looked unbothered and at peace that it made me feel at peace.

I found myself lightly tracing over his features with my index finger. I watched as I smoothened his thick eyebrows, lingering at the scar just as the end. I frowned when he flinched slightly. Most of the cuts still hurt at an extent. It wasn't the only scar that marred his handsome face. Although they were small and thin, it added more years to his face. The light and jagged texture of them felt foreign against his smooth skin. It made him seemed tougher and meaner than he already is and I hated it. Lorenzo wasn't that bad. . .

My fingers then slid up into his hair. I proceeded to comb through his locks and occasionally massaging his scalp. Things like these I found myself doing unconsciously, as if it was natural. I wasn't expecting Lorenzo's thick arm to suddenly wrap around me though.

I let out a small shriek of fright before calming myself. "Good morning, my love." His morning voice made my body tingle in delightful ways. I presses myself further into him and buried my head right under his chin, ignoring his pesky stubble that poked my forehead.

"Good morning," I say before pressing a quick kiss to his throat. He hummed and his chest vibrated causing me to momentarily close my eyes in bliss.

"Has your temper simmered down since yesterday?"

I scoffed before pulling back a bit to look into his tired eyes. "Don't remind otherwise I'll be sour once again." Anything that sets me off ruins my mood completely. It can be how small or happened years ago, I'd still carry the bitterness with me until the day's done.

"Well then maybe I should tell you of the surprise," Lorenzo mockingly contemplated, glancing at me to see my reaction. Not that he didn't know what it would already be.

"Surprise?!" I beamed as i shot up to sit on my knees. "You got me a surprise?!" I was literally bouncing like an excited child on Christmas. I loved surprises, especially his. They'd be small little things that made me awe because seeing Lorenzo be soft is weird.

Lorenzo lifted a brow as he tilted his head. "You? No. . . For Adrian!" He laughed. I halted and huffed, crossing my arms against my chest with displeasure. This only made him laugh harder. I reached for the pillow beside me and whacked him twice before holding it over his face. Not too hard though. I didn't want to kill him . . . yet.

"Bambola!" His accented voice vibrated through the pillow," I'm kidding. Now please allow me to breathe. Thank you."

I moved the pillow hesitantly away before smacking him again. He truly manages to piss me off. "Whatever your stupid surprise is, I don't want it."

I got up from the bed, pulling down Lorenzo's shirt and began to make-up my side of bed. Lorenzo rubbed his eyes before grabbing a small pillow and throwing it at me.

"Hey!" I picked up the pillow and placed it neatly against the others. "I will not talk to you again."

"But the surprise. . ." He whined as he rolled around the bed, completely messing it up all over again.

I scoffed and rolled my eyes. "What are you? Five?" Lorenzo was upside down when he looked up at me with cute pouty lips.

"Please?"

"No."

"Yes."

"No."

"You're acting like if you've even got a choice." He hummed as he picked at his finger nails sassily.

"Fine." I muttered begrudgingly before leaning down to kiss his forehead. As I pulled back, Lorenzo smiled and pulled in for a deeper kiss before letting go.

"Be ready for around three."

Marilyn and Donny were more than excited to help me pick out outfits for the "surprise". We've passed through the majority of my closet and still nothing. Marilyn got so frustrated from me saying no to everything that she flung herself on to the bed and started to literally cry. Donny, on the other hand, he seemed to be dishing out colors I sjould wear.

"Blue."

"No. Not feeling it," I shrugged.

"We've went through almost all the colors known to mankind already." Donny pouted and did the same as Marilyn- -- flung himself on the bed.

I rolled my eyes, not in the mood to deal with their toddler like hissy fits. I shoved some clothes as side when my eyes caught the one. I grabbed the yellow piece and held it up against me as I examined myself in the mirror. It was a simple golden yellow dress.

"I've found the perfect dress!" I squealed as I turned to face the two crackheads on the bed.

The dress was indeed perfect. It stopped right above my knees and flowed out. There was little white daisies printed on the skirt of the dress and I remember having the perfect pair of heels to match.

Donny sat up and looked at his wristwatch. "You shouldget ready. It almost two."

Marilyn hummed from her spot before sitting up. Her eyes scanned the dress before she nodded. "I'll do your hair then." She got up and walked over to get her curler. I walked into the closet and quickly changed.

"Do you know what Lorenzo's planning?" I asked Donny after stepping out of the closet.

"Nope." He shook his head and his platinum hair fell on his forehead. "He actually planned it with someone else..."

This caught my attention as Lorenzo never really discusses personal matters with anyone. Also the fact that Donny said "someone else " had me knowing that it certainly wasn't Angelo. He would've called a name.

"Who?"

Donny moved around for a bit before he mumbled out Adriano. My eyebrows shot up to Jesus when I heard that. Adriano? Of all people? It's already weird enough that he's buddied up to Lorenzo. Now he's planning dates with his ex-girlfriend's boyfriend as if that's totally normal.

I huffed as I sat down near Marilyn's vanity. She came out from her bathroom and began styling away. Even when she burnt my ear more times than I could count, my mind (and my overly possessive and easily jealous heart) was still too busy frowning over the thought of Adriano and Lorenzo.
