It was 4th period and Ankita and Grayson were in my Maths class. We had to get in groups of 3 so i went to Grayson and grabbed Ankita pulling her to our table. Our maths teacher Mr. Bernard handed out our textbooks. Mr. Bernard was not your average maths teacher. People would describe him as being 'hippie'. He always wore tie dye shirts and jesus sandals. He had dreadlocks and had one of those earings that made a massive hole (picture above). Everybody seemed to love Mr Bernard because he was real chill and really smart. When he was younger, he won at least 50 maths awards and trophys and was ranked 3rd in the state. He had lots of positivity murals all around the walls and made sure the classroom was always super colourful. He treated us in a good way, as of we were still young kids.
We worked through the textbook and soon it was lunch. We grabbed our stuff and headed for the cafeteria. When we got there, Savera was standing there with Ethan and a girl. She had blonde hair, glasses, a long jumper and leggings on. She seemed really nice so i introduced myself to her. We all sat down and started talking about random things. I realised how much we had in common. It turns out she knew one of my old friends who also moved to America. She also told me the story about Cindy and what happened. I felt so bad for her. "Shes such a bitch! She swooped so low, because she is jealous of you katie" i said to her. "She doesnt deserve a good friend like you"i told her. She beamed at me and pulled me for a hug. Savera, Deni, Ankita, Ethan and Grayson all joined in and we had a group hug. We felt like a little family. Katie definitely did fit into our 'group'. We invited her to our house for this weekend as well as Deni and Ankita so we could get to know them better and hang out more with them instead of just during school hours. They all agreed and then the bell went.
I had visual arts with savera, ethan and grayson. We all walked to an art workshop where and older man was holding a palette and paint brush. His name was Mr Grant. He was very old fashioned and partly deaf. He marked us off the role and continued painting. Savera and i looked around the room. There were so many artworks. Mr Grant was an amazing artist. Some of his works were in the art gallery and he has made money by selling some of his paintings.
Mr Grant is also pretty chill and doesnt expect anyone to actually do work in art. Its basically just a bludge lesson because it doesnt get graded so it means nothing. Mr Grant call it 'Hanging out' time. Everyone was either ontheir phones, talking, eating or sleeping. Ethan, savera, grayson and i sat at two joined tables. We were so bored so we decided to play 'truth or dare' Savera was first so Ethan asked her "truth or dare", she chose truth and he asked her, "Have you ever been kissed yet? If so, who was your best kiss?" She thought for a moment. I knew this answer and i was waiting for her to say it. Shes had one boyfriend before. His name was Alex, he was 2 months older than her, they kissed in her bedroom while there was a party, she dumped him because he cheated on her and she really did enjoy being with him because he was the first and only person she has loved who didnt want her just for sex. They really loved each other but then one day i was with her and we were shopping and we saw him with this other chick who was the biggest thot going. You could tell she was a slut from a mile away. She ended it all and i was there for her te while time. Im lucky im still alive because she was ragin so much. She could of killed someone if she wanted to. I looked over at her. She was hesitant for a while but then spoke up. "I have only been kissed once so i guess he was the best?" I chuckled at her sarcasm but made sure she was ok after. It was my turn to ask ethan. "Truth or dare?" "Truth" "Oohhh ok, lets see" i say rubbing my palms together "Who is your crush at school?" He looked at Grayson with a cheeky trin on his face. I found it sexy the way they bit their lips but i kept it to myself. He hesitated, looked at me, around the room and kept going looking at random people until his eyes finally stopped at Savera. He winked at her and she blushed so much she looked red. "WOOOOOOOOAAAAAHHHHHHH" Grayson and i said at the same time. "Scandalous" he said in a girly voice. We all laughed and i could tell Savera had mixed emotions. It was my turn so Grayson asked me "truth or dare?" I was feeling rebellious so i chose dare. "OOOHHHHHH DARE DEVIL" Grayson said smirking at me. I blushed a little and savera winked at me. I knew what she was thinking but i broke eye contact. He looked at me and said "you have to text your crush and tell them how much you love them. Oh and yea you have to ask them on a date" he said all of them giggling.
Ffs i thought in my head. My crush was Grayson and now i had to text him, tell him how much i love him AND ask him out. A small part of me was glad he said that because now i could get it off my chest. But the rest o me was screaming inside. I took my phone out of my pocket. I walked hust outside the room so they couldnt see who i was texting. I scrolled through the contacts until Graysons name came up. As i said bedore i aas feeling rebellious so i pulled up the messages. I began typing:

I walked back into the room, all three of them staring at me, then Graysons phone buzzed. They all turned and faced him "whose that gray?" Ethan asked. He looked at me and smiled. "HOLD THE FUCKIN BUS" Ethan said grabbing Graysons phone. He tried to grab it back but Ethan stood up so he couldnt reach him. "Ethan, give it back!" He said. Ethan didnt listen and read the message. "Anika?" Ethan said looking at me confused. "You and grayson?" I sighed and sat at the table opposite savera. "Thats actually really cute, you guys were made for each other" ethan said. I was shook bht in a good way. "DAMN, YOU GUYS WOULD HAVE GOOD LOOKING BABIES" He said grabbing some peoples attention. "ETHAN! shut the fuck up" i said sort of whispering. He just smirked and sat down. Grayson grabbed his phone and looked at me. "Anika, theres something i need to tell you". He said looking deeply into my eyes. I nodded for him to tell me. Ethan and Savera were off in their own conversation. He leaned in to whisper so they couldn hear. "Anika, i love you".
