Chapter 6

ANIKAS POV

Grayson and I walked into the classroom and sat towards the back. I sat next to him as he was the only person i knew in our class. About 20 other students piled into the room filling up the seats. I was now super nervous. Grayson grabbed my hand which calmed me down. He whispered in my ear that everything would be fine and that he would be there for me. I smiled as everytime he talked to me i felt safe. An older lady walked into the room holding a clipboard and some books. She set them down on the table with a loud bang drawing attention from everyone who was on their phones. "EVERYONE PUT THOSE RIDICULOUS DEVICE THINGS AWAY BEFORE I TAKE THEM AND KEEP THEM FOR MYSELF!" she screamed. Everyone immediately put their phones on silent and in their bags and pockets. Her name was already on the whiteboard in big letters because she wore glasses and was half blind. Ms. Winfield it read. Grayson leaned over and whispered to me "nobody likes her, shes always cranky and has a bad reputation. She got a kid suspended for chewing gum in class" "eesh, abit harsh dont you think?" We both laughed but i really wished i hadnt because right at that moment Ms Winfied turned around and looked me dead in the eye.  Shit, what do i do i thought to myself. She looked me up and down makin me feel intimidated before finally saying something. "I cant quite say weve met before Mssss... "Dawson, Anika Dawson" i said hesitantly. "Well Ms Dawson, im not sure what school you previously attended but im sure they wouldnt except this unnecessary behaviour from their students at all" she said a stern look on her face. I nodded in agreement and said "yes ma'am" my face now red with embarrassment. Just as i was about to sit down, the principal Mr. Kennedy walked in. "Hello class, Hello Ms Winfield, as some of you may know, we have a new student in this homeroom, he said looking directly at me, i could feel all eyes on me. So please make her feel welcome, thats all, Ms Winfield you may carry on" he said exiting the classroom. "I was going to put you on detention but since this is your first day, considerate a warning" she said staring into my eyes. I sat down, my face as red as a tomato. I was so eager for next period.

SAVERAS POV

Ethan and i walked into our homeroom and sat towards the back. There were two girls sitting at the table next to us. One of them looked over at me and said "Hey, you must new here, im Deni and this is Ankita" i smiled and said "Nice to meet you both, im Savera and i just moved here from Australia with my sister". "It must be pretty different here for you" Ankita said. I nodded in agreement. "I think im going to like it here more though, i went to a private, all girls school and i hated it there. We ha to wear uniforms that were so uncomfortable and we looked like we kust came out of the 1920s." They boh laughed and asked me if i wanted to sit wih them at lunch. I agreed and asked if Ethan, Anika and Grayson could come. They nodded and then the teacher walked in.

"Hello class, today we have a new student, Savera, would you like to introduce yourself and tell us a few things about you? I stood up all eyes on me. I was nervous at first but then i talked abit about myself and i already felt better. Ms Campbell was our homeroom teacher. She was really nice, better than any teacher at my old school. I could tell i was going to like this school. It was now time for lunch. I texted Anika and told her and Gray to meet us at the cafeteria. About 5 mins later they walked over to Ethan, Ankita, Deni and I and she introduced herself to Deni and Ankita. We walked into the cafeteria, grabbed our food and sat at an empty table towards the back of the room. At the table across from ours sat a group of girls. They wore a tonne of make up, really short shorts with fish net stockings underneath, crop singlets, chokers and white sneakers. They honestly looked like sluts. A group of boys joined their table. They looked like fuckboys. They were all the perfect match for each other i thought and looked at Anika who i knew was thinking the same thing. We talked about random stuff with the girls and soon we had to go off to our 4th period classes. Anika, Grayson and Ankita were in the same Maths class so they left leaving Ethan, Deni and i alone. We allhad different classes so i asked a girl how to get to my class. She gave me directions and i made it just before the bell.

I looked around the class and the only seats were right up the front. I sucked up and sat in the front seat. A few girls from the table across from ours in the cafeteria were in this class. They all sat in the back surrounded by boys. Horny mf i thought to myself. A girl walked in and sat next to me. She had blonde hair, wore glasses and had leggings and an oversized jumper on. She looked at me and said "hey are you the new girl?" I nodded and she shook my hand "well im katie" "im savera" i replied shaking her hand. She leaned in closer to my ear and whispered"those girls back there, dont let them take you for granted, they are just a bunch of sluts who pick on girls especially girls that are a threat to her popularity . They each have had sex with about 50 boys. The head leader, Cindy, she lost her virginity at the age of 12 and started smoking and drinking when she was 9. Her parents spoil her so much, and , oh, if she invites you to her parties, dont go. She is the biggest bitch ever. I should know." I looked at her with an empathetic look."if you dont mind me asking, what did she do?"

"Well, when i first came to this school, i didnt have any friends. Cindy became my first 'friend'. She invited me to one of her parties. I was so excited but really nervous. I didnt know that she was such a bad kid. I was 15 and obviously under age to basically do anything. I went to her party and she offered me a drink. I took it thinking it was a fizzy drink or soda. It tasted funky but i didnt think twice. I chugged the whole cup down and immediately felt sick. I didnt do anything but i just layed on the couch and before i knew it, i was on a bed in a dark room and all my clothes were on the floor. I lay there naked scared for my life. Eventually she was charged with doping and fined which i think is ridiculous because her parents were rich and payed it just like that. Lucky for me, she also isnt allowed to converse or try to touch or hurt me in any way. Im worried about you though. She tends to pray on pretty, successful girls like you who know how to have a good time without almost killing yourself". I chuckled but thought about what she had said. "Im so sorry that happened to you. You deserve so much better. Shes just a jealous slut who envyed you and your natural beauty" i said smiling. "Thank you so much savera, i hope we can be really good friends" she said smiling. I nodded"i think we will make great friends". We had the same class for next period so she helped me find out where our room was. I asked if she wanted to join us for lunch and she agreed.
