Chapter 8

ANIKAS POV

Anika i love you.....

Those 4 words stuck in my head. I thought for a while, it couldnt be, was i dreaming? Yea i liked Grayson, like alot hut i never expected him to like me back. I was now shook af. Alot of emotions filled up inside of me. I started to feel sick. Wtf is wrong with me i said myself. I glanced at Savera and Ethan who heard everything and looked in shock at Gray and i. My stomach tensed up as i could feel butterflies. I felt uncomfortable sitting down so i decided to get up to go to the bathroom. I raced out the door not turning back. I was glad to get out of that situation. It felt so awkward and i wasnt ready to start anything. I paced the halls but i didnt know where the bathrooms were. Tbh i felt bad for leaving Grayson like that. I didnt know what to think anymore. My mind was just swirling with thoughts. I started feeling light headed when i heard a familiar voice "looking for the bathroom?" A husky, sexy voice said. I knew exactly who it was. "Oh, no im fine" i say turning to face him. I tried to look at his face but my vision blurred and my head spun. I grew weak in my legs and my eyes rolled back. The last thing i saw was Grayson running towards me. I hit the floor with a thump. My mins grew blank. There was only black. I couldnt think anymore so i let my mind drift off.

GRAYSONS POV

THUMP!! "ANIKA!" I yell as she hits the floor. I immediately run to her and try to wake he up. She doesnt respond. I shake her gently but she doesnt move. Shes still breathing but shes out cold. I carry her bridal style downthe hall to the front office into the sick bay. "Oh dear, whats happened" the nurse says looking concerned. "She just fainted" i explain to her. "Ok dear, ill take it from here" she says smiling at me "thanks for bringing her here" she says as i leave the office glancing back at Anika one last time. 

Gosh i hope shes ok i think to myself. She did leave off in a hurry after i told her i had feelings for her. I admit i feel like it is a bit early but you cant help who you fall in love with i say to myself. I walk back into the arts room where ethan and savera stare back at me looking worried. "Wheres Anika?" Savera askes me. "She blacked out so i carried her to the office" i say "shes in there now if you want to go to her" i say gesturing for Savera to go. She immediately grabs her bag and rushes out of the room leaving ethan and i. He looks at me and smirks. "Damn Gray, your looks really do kill" he says chuckling to himself. "Stfu ethan" i say punching him in the arm. "Ooohhhhh someones in loveeee" he teases. I ignore him and go find something to do.

SAVERAS POV

I walk into the office and see Anika in the sick bay. I walk over to her. She just lays there. She looks dead to be honest. Its as if her life has been sucked out of her. She looks really pale. Shes probably just in a lot of shock i think to myself. I tap her lightly on her arm. She doesnt respond. I do it several times but she still doesnt respond. Im slightly worried but shes tough. Shell get through it i say to myself. Anika gets very emotional when it comes to boys. Unlike me, shes never had a boyfriend so for Grayson to say he loves her, must be a pretty big deal. I sit there thinking to myself. Anika jolts awake and starts crying. I immediately rap her in a tight hug. I grab a tish from the bedside table and five it to her. She wipes away her tears. I hug her again until se pulls away. "Hey, you alright?" I ask her. "Yea" she replies fake smiling. I know exactly what shes doing. "Anika Dawson, you will tell me right now, whats wrong?" I say more sternly. She gives in and i begin to listen. "When Grayson told me he loved me, i was really happy and all but at the same time i was confused and scared an- i dont know anymore sav"she says bursting out in tears. I pull her arms around me and wrap her in a warm hug. "Can you tell grayson im sorry for being such a drama queen" she says half smiling back at me. "Sure" i say. Makena walks into the office. They must of called her to pick her up. I wave good bye as they exit the office and school.
