It was October. Adrienne's birthday was coming up. The 6th. She really hit the jackpot with Billie. She never knew what to expect on her birthday. One time he took her for a romantic night in San Francisco. Another time he took her to a bee farm. So you could say she was nervous.  Not only that, but he was acting strange and that's all she could think about. And it goes without saying what was the first thing that popped into her mind when thinking about what could possibly be going on. An affair. After all, he could get any girl or guy he wanted. Billie had a ton of fangirls who would give anything to be with him. Of course, he would never in a million years be with anyone who wasn't Adrienne. But stuff happens. Or at least that's the way she saw it. Despite the fact that Billie would literally die for Adrienne and never cheat on her, and everyone knows this, she was still an insecure person. Yes, crazy to believe. You'd think that all of his gushing and craziness for her would boost her confidence a little. But she was aware that he had millions of fans. And she worried. It's not that she didn't trust him, but she did not trust the crazy groupies.

"What?!" BJ yelled into the phone. He had received a call and he took it outside. A woman. "We agreed 9 in the morning so we could have time for everything else!" -pause- "Wh-? What do you mean it's the only time you're available? Great. Thanks. My wife is totally gonna find out. *Exasperated sigh*" He pulled on his inner eye corners. "Fine. I'll see how I can get her out of the house before then. See ya." He hung up. "Everything has to go wrong. Jeez," he told himself as he turned around to go into the house while fiddling with his phone, but ran into Jakob. He had been taking the dog out to do its business and stayed to eavesdrop on the conversation. "Well hi there," Billie greeted. "Who were you talking to?" Jakob asked, clearly suspicious. He managed to hear the voice on the phone. "Oh, just someone." "Who." "Doesn't matter." "Yes. It does. What are you trying to hide from Mom? Why do you have to get her to leave the house?" he interrogated. "Don't worry about it. Jeez." He disappeared into the house. His favorite word is jeez, by the way. In case you didn't notice. Jakob decided to keep it to himself. He wasn't completely sure about what was going on, and he didn't want to start anything.

"So. Adrienne's birthday is coming up," Mike reminded. "Yep," Billie sighed. "Lame that it didn't go according to plan." "I mean you can still turn that around. Just saying. You could do way better." "Yeah but she isn't suspecting this. It's going well. I can't just ruin it like this. What's the date again? I lost count thanks to all the chaos." "It's the 3rd." "3 days," he stressfully said. "K, well, gotta get home. See ya Mike," he said. "Bye." He abandoned the studio.

He found 80 on the porch watering the plants. "Hey."

"Mm," she murmured.

"You could water all those flowers for days straight and none of them would come close to being as beautiful as you are," he flirted.

"What's going on Billie?"

"What do you mean?"

"You've been acting really weird lately. It's bothering me."

"Nothing. Don't worry. I'm fine," he said awkwardly.

She put the watering can down. "Okay." She disappeared into the house.

He stood there for about 10 minutes. Thinking. This wasn't new. They've had quarrels about things like these before. He acts weird, she worries, turns hostile. But it was different this time, she had no idea what was coming.
