I don't know why people think crying is an imitation of weakness. It's not. Crying shows that you're not afraid of showing your emotions, that you do not want to bottle up the pain because, in the end, everyone knows that it'll explode.

You know people who don't ever cry and try to show that they are strong are actually the weakest. They are firm on the outside, but once their guard is down they are more feeble than anyone else.

Right from the beginning, we are told, "Do not cry. Weak people cry." But I say crying is okay. Let it out. Cry in the bathroom, bury your face in the pillow and let it all out.

Let the tears flow and you can see clearly again. Tears wash the dirt of your heart away. It loosens the burden and your soul feels light. You'll feel better, I promise.
