Don't make promises,
They are hard to keep.
Crushed hopes, unfulfilled desires,
Only enhances the worse.
Those bonds ultimately break,
I've felt, I've broken.
It's impossible to guarantee,
Uncertain, that is, life.
Commitments are easy,
Just hard to live up to.
I don't criticise anyone,
For I too am the one to blame.
