I am often asked, what's my inspiration to write?
I smile and say, anything yet everything.
My verses are not always for anyone,
They are my forgotten feelings, my silent shouts.
I am not oblivious, no, I observe,
The lavish lies, the terrible truths.
I am not quiet, I'm thinking,
Maybe of foolish fantasies, or the ruthless realities.
These mute mentations take the form of poetry,
Sometimes they rhyme, sometimes they don't.
