That night I witnessed it,
The sparkle of the moon,
Concealed by the shadows that spread,
Bit by bit in the eternal darkness. The empty space was pitch black,
While the stars were winking,
My gaze met the almost disappeared light,
Vain struggle to fight the utmost darkness. After a minute or two, a single ray broke out,
Giving an entirely different meaning to beauty,
The ivory hue of the orb of night,
Shined like a full-fledged smile in the murky infinity.Battling with the obscurity,
From the wan crescent to the full celestial body,
And I looked without blinking,
As it bathed us all in its luminescence.
