That day I walked down the cold sandy beach, barefoot. The enormous beacon of light dipping low, longing to merge with the peaceful, infinitely long stretches of blue. A painter dipping his brush and stroking his canvas with the orange shade resembled the clear azure sky.
The sea breeze blew spreading my hair. Closing my eyes, I tried to photograph this memory in my eternal soul. The last sunset my doe eyes will ever see was suddenly more spectacular than it ever has been.
But alas! The others can't seem to notice the splendid intertwining of deep red with orange and pink. But then, of course, it is not their last sunset.
Watching the ball of fire stepping down and down, my feet took me closer to the deeper parts of the ocean. The waves crashing down at my feet were stronger than before, pushing me back to the shore and not letting my intentions become reality. The water reached above my waists and a tear escaped my eyes as I closed them. Savouring my last moments, I took a last look at the darkened sky where the North Star took birth. My body was pulled inside by the currents and I let it.
To break my trance, a hand grabbed my shoulder and my gaze turned to the enormously daring stranger. But all I did see was a golden gleam emerging from a sort of a human figure.
My eyes were blinded with all the starlight and then a deep voice filled my ears, blocking the sound of this mundane world-
"Hold on!"

A/N: This is not a poem. This is just something I wrote after my tests.
But hey, the book is all about rambling, right?
