Tj's P.O.V

I really feel bad for Mitch. He really doesn't need to talk to his mother like that. It's not like she had a choice. He's lucky he was never infected before the zombies got him. Paige is sure a life saver. Although, I wish she wouldn't have went out there to rescue them without a weapon. She was covered in Hope's blood when I seen her cradling Mitch telling him that it's okay. I thought she was bit. I could never imagine life without such a beautiful soul. She is the only reason I'm not bit now. She's almost took her life for me so many times, I can't even count. It's hard having a big family without knowing where to go, or what to do. I know Mitch didn't mean what he said, but it sure as hell wasn't meant to be said to his own mother. She already lost one daughter.. She can't lose another kid. Hope was always the small quiet one who loved to listen to Suicide Silence. She cut herself sometimes because she felt as if she was nothing in the world we used to live in. She was bullied in elementary school before this all happened.. She was lucky Paige went in to get her before she got infected the first time.

Audrey is only three years old and is learning how to warn us when she sees a walker. She needs some juice and food to last through the rest of this year. Then we are moving along. Only if we had weapons... Even if I did leave, I couldn't tell Paige. She would make me stay here and watch every one then she'd leave to get Audrey food. She doesn't understand that if something happens to her, I'm going out there for the walkers to get me as well. I just wish that she'd get that through her head..

                                                           **The Next Morning**

I had just woken up and Paige isn't here. I'm freaking out and no one is up. I look around on the table for any sign of where she might be. There's a note on the fridge that reads,

Honey,

I'll be back soon. I didn't want to wake you while you were sleeping so peacefully. You've been up for three days taking care of Audrey so I went to go get her some food and juice. I took the car so that if anything comes at me I have the car to hit the walkers with. Please don't come out looking for me. I don't want to lose anymore people. I can't lose you during this apocalypse. I also went to go find us guns and ammo so we can travel when the food shelter is done here. Once the year has passed, we'll be on our way to a new town. I love you. Keep the doors shut and locked. Keep an eye on Mitch, Audrey, and Maddi's baby. Okay? I'll see you soon.

                                                                                    Love, Paige<3

I sit on the couch crying because I have no idea how long she's been gone. I finally force myself to get off the couch and walk to the attic where Mitch has still been at over night. "Do you know how long ago your mom left?" I ask. He never answered me. "Mitch answer me!" I demand. I'm getting tired of him acting this way. It has been four months. "She left right before you got up. I watched her leave. She said for me to keep watch at she left. I killed 20 walkers. She was almost bit. But I had bullets in my gun to save her." He finally replies back. "You mean to tell me she's alone with nothing to save her but the fucking car?! How come you didn't wake me up?!" I ask. "Mom told me that if I woke you up that she'd put my own gun to my head. I couldn't stand that. And she said that you've been up for so long and you need sleep." He snaps back at me. What was I going to do now? Paige is gone for at least three hours every time she leaves. She'll be back soon.

Let's just hope nothing horrible happened to her.
