Tj's P.O.V
Nikki is getting better at her shooting. Only if Paige would allow her and the boys out to shoot sometime. She's too worried. I understand. But she needs to let these kids out of here sometime. No one will be able to do it anymore.
I feel Paige moving really fast in her sleep. She will probably wake up and fall back asleep. She stops moving for a minute. She's off the bed by now. I turn over to see her on the ground not breathing. She's choking. "Baby!" I scream. "Trent! Help! Paige is joking! Someone help!" I scream again. No one comes. Her eyes are open. She's still human. I jump off the bed and get her to stop joking by now. I cuddle with her until she falls back asleep. I sit there for about two hours thinking...
Just thinking. How could she be freaking out like this? We're in a good place.
Five minutes later, Paige starts screaming. I move toward her and she's crying as well. I try telling her that it's okay. It was just a dream. She knows that what has happened so far is starting to haunt her again. "Baby it's fine." I say in her ear. She's kicking and punching telling me that she isn't supposed to be just fine. That she needs to be perfect. "You are perfect! Honey! Calm down! Everything is going to be fine! I promise!" I yell over her screaming voice. Trent runs where my family is and yells, "What's wrong with her now?" I look at him and say, "Same stuff. Just like every night." I look over at the two bottles that are already gone of depression medicine and whisper to myself, "This stuff isn't working. We need stronger medicine."
Paige has woke up four times just freaking out. I had to hold her hands and legs down just so she wouldn't beat me to death. I know she wouldn't mean to. But this nightmare stuff has got to stop. Every single night with this can't be good. Finally I just go to sleep. Paige slept through the rest of the night. This has been the first time she slept through the rest of the night in years. She usually would stay up the rest of the night. I don't know, but I will help her. There isn't no mental place here that can help her. She is literally going through hell right now. We all are. She's a fighter.
She can pull through it. No one can help her. Maybe if I try talking her into it, I can get her to stop freaking out at night. We'll have to see. But for now, I have to try talking to her. "Good morning babe." I say with a smile. "Good morning love." She says back to me.
