Tj's P.O.V

There wasn't much stuff in here. This is the only place we have left in Bourbon to live on. Then it's another spot. Sullivan. We can work our way around MO till we have nothing left. That will probably be the end of us all. Lets just hope not. Paige doesn't eat much. Neither do I. I just tell her I do so she doesn't get as worried. I don't want Paige being upset like she has been. She can't keep her mind straight. The past few days have been really hard on her. She's starting to have panic and anxiety attacks. She has a depression problem and we can't find anything for her. Every night when she cries, she can't help but have a erg to cut her wrist. Every time she sits in the bathroom for 10 minutes, I knock on the door to make sure she's okay. Most of the time she isn't. It seems as if her depression is getting worse. Nothing is getting better for her. She can barley walk.. She hides her pain with a smile to keep our kids heads up high. She's never told any of them how bad her depression is. Lately I've been hearing her cry in the shower. Of course I don't go in there and bother her. She needs space too.

I tell you, she's the best girl that I've ever had. I could never imagine how life would be without her. She's so damn funny. I remember a week or two ago she said, "Watch this!" And winked at me. She put her foot out the window and kicked a walkers head off. It was funny as hell. Now how could someone as cute, funny, and gorgeous have a huge depression problem? She doesn't look like it. But I swear if you meet her, you won't even tell.

I now go look for her and Luke. Their by the wedding rings. Luke's gonna finally propose to Maddi! I walk over there and ask what's going on. Paige suddenly has tears down her face. She's happy. "Looks like you're gonna ask a special girl to marry you!" I say smiling. "I sure hope so." Luke says back to me. "Need any help with anything?" I ask. "Actually, you and mom need to set up the attic. I mean PERFECTLY!" He says worriedly. "Me and your mom got this son. I promise." I say smiling.

We get everything and walk to the car. Nikki takes a walkers head off so we can put the stuff in the trunk. "You got the ring?" I ask Luke. He nods in return. I hear him whisper, "Everything is going to be perfect tonight." It's nice to see how happy my son is. I haven't seen him like this since before he and Maddi got together. He's happy. That makes me happy.

I get out of the car first to help Paige into the house. She demands to go help carry stuff since theirs no walkers out here. She kept biting me on my arm to put her down. I wouldn't. I sat her on the couch and made her sit there. Finally for once she listened. It was about damn time. Then I see her get up and bring a chair to the counter where the stuff was. That girl just doesn't listen. I see her putting stuff away. I'm almost positive that her ankle is broke. I grab the boot from the hall closet to make her take off her worn out Converse. She actually let me help her with this situation. She sat down in the chair she had her leg on and put her leg on my knee. I took off her shoe and slid the boot on carefully. She made a hurt face, but she stayed straight faced after that. She stood up of her feet for the first time in two days. "How's it fit?" I ask. "It fits perfect." She says smiling. I always loved that smile on her. "Try walking with it. Maybe you'll feel a little more better." I tell her. She does. She nods as if it's the perfect size. She moves the chair back to the table and walks back over to put the food in the fridge. I put all the guns in the closet with the ammo. I come back out to find everything we brought home put away. Now it's time to help Luke.

                                                                    **Two Hours Later**

Me and Paige got the attic decorated and Maddi is with Paige now. Maddi has no clue what's going on. I see Maddi walk out with Paige's old 8th grade promotion dress on with her Converse and her neon and black hair. She looked a lot like Paige when she was young. I mean she is, but you know what I mean. "How do I look?" Maddi asks me and Paige. "Beautiful." We reply back to her. She smiled at us. "Do you know what's going on?" She asks us. "I have no idea?" Paige says back to her. I go up to the attic to see if Luke is ready with the food and stuff. He was. Me and Paige put a scarf around her head and lead her to the attic. We open the door and Luke says, "You can take it off her now." We do so. Maddi has a huge smile on her face and asks, "What's this all for?" She seemed really happy. "We never ate anything special in a while." Luke tells her. "I guess we'll leave you two alone?" I tell Luke and Maddi. They smile at me and Paige.

I hear her and Luke just laughing away at their funny jokes. Paige and I are cleaning the house. She keeps trying to get on her tippy toes to reach for shit, but ends up falling a little. She's a little fighter. She doesn't understand the word "no" when I say it to her. I know she isn't a kid, but she's gotta learn that she can't do everything on her own. She's always hated asking me to do stuff for her. She's even afraid to ask for a back massage. Although, I know how she looks when she wants one. She looks at me as if she's tired. I feel bad and do it even if she says not to. I love her.

We just got done cleaning the house and Paige is half asleep on the couch. She has her broken ankle on the couch and the other on the ground. Both her hands are on her stomach. She took off all her bracelets for a while. She made me promise not to go anywhere if she falls asleep. I never do. I know she's hurt and I can't let her down. I could never break another promise to her again. I haven't since we were teenagers. I walk over to where she's laying down and sit where her legs were on opposite sides of the couch. I put her un-broken leg across mine and lay down on her stomach. She isn't feeling well and she's lost a whole bunch of weight. She's skinnier than she was before. I ask her if she's hungry and she nods. I get up and make her some mac 'n cheese. She has always loved that. I got her a bowl and she scarfed it down. After that me and her switched spots except this time she laid her body down all over me. She used me as her big pillow. I kinda liked it. It's not like she weighed enough to hurt me at all. Then, we end up falling asleep. Paige fell asleep first. Then I did. We lay there all quiet so the two love birds upstairs could have their fun.
