What Started It All.

Chapter 12:

     **This is now the outside world. No point of views**

Quiet.

Dangerous.

Zombies everywhere.

Nowhere to hide or run.

The Hoke family has left. Three months is past. They are traveling to Sullivan to look for a place to stay. About three hours later, they find a place. But that place is taken by a shit load of people. The "camp manager" comes up to Tj and Paige and asks, "What are you guys doing here?" Paige steps forward to the jackass and says, "We need a place to stay. Gotta problem?" Tj grabs her arm, but she pulls it away. Tj steps up by Paige and says, "Can we stay here? As you can see, we have my wife with a broken leg, two little babies, three teens, and a 10 year old. Or do you own ALL of Sullivan?" Paige is looking real hard at the manager. She feels like she knows him from somewhere. But she forgets it. She barley knows anyone anymore. Just her family she's spent years with in the zombie apocalypse. "Sure you can stay here. But you better listen here. You go by MY rules." The manager says. "We go by our own rules. For some reason I don't trust you." Paige snaps back to him. "What happens if we don't?" Tj asks trying to keep us here. "We'll just have to see." The manager says back. "Listen here buddy, if you throw my family out of here, I will kick your ass!" Paige runs and jumps to the manager and Tj picks her up and holds her till she calms down. He kisses her to keep her calm.

The managers people is going to the Hoke's car to get their stuff. They got a couple beds made for them. Paige fell asleep as Tj was carrying her. The camp manager comes to Tj and asks to walk with him for a minute. Tj nods and leans down to kiss Paige on her cheek to let her know that he'll be back.

Tj and the manager are now walking and he says, "Sorry about my wife. She has a depression problem and losing a daughter really struck her. She isn't doing well." The manager looks at him as if to say 'I'm sorry'. "That really sucks.. How old was she?" The manager asks Tj. "She was 12. Her and my son, Mitch went outside to looks for flashlights and she saved Mitch and got bit in the neck. Paige ran out and grabbed Mitch before he was gone too." Tj just got a blank stare from the manager. "You say Paige is your wife's name?" He asks. "Yeah why?" Tj asks him in return. He doesn't know why he changed the subject out of nowhere. "It's just, my sisters name was Paige. I haven't seen her since the beginning of the apocalypse. Everything happened quickly. We ran out of our grandparents' house and we split." Says the manager. "You think Paige is your sister?" Tj asks him. "I kind of think so." The manager says.

About an hour later, Paige just woke up and starts freaking out. "Where's Tj?!" Paige yells. She starts crying. She doesn't know where her husband is. She tries to get up and falls. She notices that her boot is off and is no where to be found. She sees her shoe and slips it on. She get's up and walks on her broken leg. "Tj?!" Paige yells. "Paige where's your boot? You can't walk without it!" Tj yells. Then Paige sees the manager and darts over to beat the hell out of him until Tj stops her. "Paige! Stop! This is your brother! Quit!!" Tj yells to her. "What the fuck are you talking about?! You went away from me! You promised me you wouldn't leave! You promised!!" Paige yells back to Tj as the manager knocks her out with some special medicine. "What was that stuff?" Tj asks. "It's to calm her down." The manager speaks back to him

They go back to the beds and the manager is sitting in a chair just above Tj. Paige finally wakes up and asks what happened. Tj told her. "Paige?" The manager says. "What do you want?" Paige snaps to him. The manager takes a minute and finally has the strength to say, "Paige, it's me. Trent." She sits up and says, "What? No way are you my brother. My brother is probably dead." Trent just stares at him. "There is no way that this fucker is my brother, Tj. Why the fuck is he over here?!" Paige says to Tj. "Ask him a few questions. He may still know that answer to them." Tj says. Paige nods and says, "Alright. What's my favorite color, 'Trent'?" "You have two. Red and black." Trent says. "What was my grandma's name?" Paige asks. "Jackie Daugherty." Paige is kind of freaked out. "Tj did you tell him this stuff?!" Paige says. "Babe I swear that I didn't." He says. "What was my last name before I got married?" Paige asks as if he may really be her brother. "Both our last name is Loughridge." Trent says. Paige is shocked. "You had to have told him that! You had to! No one else knew that besides us! How could this be possible!?" Paige says. "I didn't tell him anything besides how you saved Mitch and about your depression problem." Tj says. "Trent I thought you went to the Cuba direction?" Paige says. "I was. Me and Leandra were there. She ended up getting bit. I went there, cleaned it out and came here." Trent says. It was unbelievable. "Do you want to go find you some depression medicine Paige? You really need it. You've freaking out too much." Tj asks me. She nods in return. "Who's all going?" Paige asks. Trent stands up and says, "I'll come." Luke and Mitch come over to her and say, "We're coming." Paige looks at her sons and says, "No! You're NOT going! Who do you two think you are?!" Paige yells. Tj stands up and tells the boys that they aren't coming. They say "fine" and walk back to Audrey, Nikki, Jamie, and Maddi. "Where's my boot?" Paige asks. Tj gets it and puts it on her. Then Paige and Tj walks over to their family and gives them a hug and kiss. Then it was time to go.
