Walking On Clouds [Completed]

Chapter 2

I got into Eltons car he handed me a blind fold I kinda looked at it funny before grabbing it and Elton tied it around my eyes before starting his car we drove for a while but the care came to a stop.
" don't take off the blind fold yet I want to get you in front of your surprise first ok?" Elton sounded eager. I just nod . I hear his door open and close I hear shuffling in gravel or rocks then my side of the car door open . Elton grabs my hand helping me out of his car. Elton scooter me over a few feet before revealing my dream car a black 1967  Chevy impala.

I gasp because this is the closest I've ever been to a 67 Impala . A huge smile spreads across my face.
A guy with a trucker cap and a flannel with khakis walks over to Elton and I he hands me the keys and says
"The car is all yours ." I look at Elton he nodded
" OMG Elty you didn't buy me my dream car did you ?" He smiled
" you've wanted this car for as long as I can remember. For Pete's sake you know EVERYTHING about it." Elton says while smiling. I squeal and jump up and down , I hug Elton with so much force we fall to the ground .
" Anna ..... can't ..... breath." He gasps between each word . I roll my eyes and get off the ground helping Elton up.
"Thanks so my for the car I say to the guy."
" no problem I heard it was you birthday so anything I can do to help ." He said Elton smiled
"Thanks uncle Jim ."
"No problem Elton see you at thanksgiving."Elton nods and I walk to my new car . Elton smiles seeing how excited I am he walks to his car gets in and starts his Engine to his mustang. I get into my new baby and start her up I love the sound of my new cars engine. I started following Elton because I didn't know that way back
TIKE SKIP THE CAR RIDE BACK.

Elton and I pulled into his driveway I turned off my car pulling the keys out of the ignition. I walked with Elton inside where his mom greeted us
"Happy birthday Anna ."
" Thanks Mrs.Castee ." She nodded and walked into the kitchen. Elton and I go into the living room. Elton grabs the tv remote turns on the tv and puts Netflix on. We debated for a good 20 minutes on what to watch until we agreed on Lilo and Stitch.
About half way through the movie I fell asleep. I woke up to Elton lightly shaking my shoulder.
" yes I'm awake what's up?"I asked
" it's almost 10:00 pm you need to get home before your dad gets pissed ." I look at my phone and see 14 missed calls from Dad .
SHIT . I think I jump off the couch grabbed my stuff and headed to my new car. I drove home got out rushed to my front door . Just as I was about to put the key in the door it opened to reveal an angry father.

He grabbed you wrist tightly yanked me inside and threw me to the ground making me drop everything on the floor.
"WHERE THE FUCK WERE YOU?" He yells kicking me in the stomach. I hiss from the pain. He's wearing steel toe boots.
" I ASKED YOU A QUESTION NOW ANSWER IT !" He yelled again kicking me.
" I was w....wi....with E....Elton ." I say curling up into a ball on the floor waiting for another kick .
" YOU BELONG TO ME NOBODY ELSE SO STOP ACTING LIKE A STUL!" He grabbed me by my hair and throwing me into the wall. He pinned me to the wall and began punching me in to face. I felt my lip split open and blood gushing out of my nose. I try to fight back but it's no use he just grabs ahold of me again. I'm now a crying ball on the floor while he hits and kicks me. He walked away for a moment and returns with an empty beer bottle. He throws  it at me with enough force that it breaks when it hits my arm.
" NOW GET OF THE GOD DAMN FLOOR AND CLEAN THIS UP BEFORE I HIT YOU MORE." I barely stand up and limp to get the mop and broom and start cleaning. When I finish I crawl upstairs to my room. When I'm in my room I close and lock the door . Sliding down the door sobbing. I push myself off the ground and limp to my bathroom and look in the mirror my face looks really bad my lip is split my nose is bleeding but it doesn't look broken  I have a black eye my cheek is split open. I start crying even harder. I wash my face up and hiss at the pain from my lip , eye and the new cut on my face. I look down at the ground seeing Colby's number on my hand. I unlock my door and creep down the stairs I gather my stuff that's all over the room. I sneak back upstairs locking my door again. I get my phone out oh my backpack typing the password in I punch in Colby's number into my contacts and text him.
To Colby 😉: hey Colby it's Anna
Cloby😉: hey Anna what's up . Are you ok?its late.
Anna:no I'm not ok my dad just beat me 😔
Colby😉:OMG Anna can you sneak out a window or something?
Anna: yeah and I think so. Why?
Cloby😉: meet me at the park.
Anna: ok I'll be there in 5.
With that I shoved my phone into my back pocket. I ever so carefully slid my window open pulled the screen off and put it in my room luckily there is a tree that I can reach from my window. I skillfully climb onto the tree and carefully climb down to the tree . I'm on the last branch and I see that I have to jump so I do when I land I hiss from pain in my ankle. I get up brush myself off and walk to the park.

COLBYS POV
Anna told me her dad beat her . Got into my car and drove to the park I told her to meet me at. I pulled up to see her sitting on a bench under a tree. I walked up to her when she turned around I saw her lip busted open her left eye blackened and a small cut on her cheek. She instantly started crying I pulled her into my chest. She was sobbing into my chest. Once she calmed down she told me what happened.
" he just started hitting you for no reason?" I asked she just nodded. I pulled her in for another hug she hugged back tightly.
" I'm so sorry Anna ." I say . She gives me a sad smile. She looked down at the ground I lifted her chin up with my hand I wrapped my arm around her waist and kissed her. She instantly melted into the kiss. I looked at the time and said
"  I should probably go we both need sleep try to cover those up so people don't ask questions." She nodded . I pulled her in one last time for a hug and kissed the top of her head. She waved bye and disappeared into the darkness back to her house. I got into my car and drove home.
