Chapter3

ANNAS POV
I did go home but I didn't got to sleep I couldn't. I tried to but I kept waking up. So I texted Elton
Anna: hey Elton I awake?
Elty~: sadly Yes why what happened?
Anna: my dad beat me again😔
Elty~: how bad is it?
Anna: I have a busted lip and a black eye.
Elty~: need to talk about it?
Anna: no I talked to Colby asked it.
Elty~: really?
Anna: yeah
Our conversation continued till sunrise. I got up and took a shower. The hot water hurt my bruised eye.
I got out and got dressed

I tried my best to cover up my black eye and split lip. It worked pretty well. I walked downstairs to see my drunk father on the couch. He looked up and grunted.
" Morning slut." He said before throwing an empty beer bottle at me I ducked and it hit the wall.
" m...mor... morning." I shuddered. I walked to the front door.
" WHERE ARE YOU GOING MY SLUT OF A DAUGHTER?" He yelled from the living room.
" school." I yelled back. I instantly regretted that because I hear him get up from the couch and angrily walk towards me. He grabbed me by my hair again and he threw me down on the ground.
" DON'T YOU EVER RAISE YOUR VOICE AT ME AGAIN! YOU UNDERSTAND ME!" He yelled while he kicked me in the gut. I nod and push myself off the ground and go upstairs to change now that I feel a bruise on my stomach

I walked back downstairs and out the front door before he has the chance to hit me again. I pulled into the schools parking lot and see a lot of people looking at my car when I get out I earn a lot of gasping and wishers. I see Elton Sam and Colby. Colby has a shocked look on his face Elton is smirking and Sam is just as shocked at Colby. They walk over to me.
" what did you get this?" Colby asks. Elton winks at me and I giggled.
" oh you mean my 1967 black Chevy Impala?" I asked Colby nods.
" Elton got it for me for my birthday. He's the best friend ever." I gush
" well this is a shock but we need to get to class so we are not late." Sam says I nod and start walking in the school. I tripped over something and fall it's hard to see with a black eye.
" oh my god Anna are you ok." Colby asks grabbing my hand and helping me up. I nod. We walk into first period. I hear whispers as Colby and Sam sit next to me.

TIME SKIP TO LUNCH

I walk into the lunch room with Colby and Sam by my side and Elton behind me. I wince in pain as I bumped into something Colby and Elton looked at me concerned.
" you ok?" Elton asks looking concerned. I nod even though they both knew I wasn't. Colby wrapped his arm around my waist which caused everyone to whisper about me but I didn't care. We sat down at an empty table. Colby sat next to me and Elton and Sam sat next to each other on the opposite side of the table as me and Colby. I felt a warm hand on my thigh causing my breath to hitch. Colby smirked.
" I'll be right back." I say getting up and walking away. I walked out into the hall way. Suddenly I got hit in the gut in the same spot I was hit by my dad. I dropped to the ground with a thud. I looked up to see a very pissed off Amanda. She bent down and whispered into my ear
" stay away from Colby he's mine."
" or what." I muttered she smiled and said
" or I'll make daddy's beatings worse for you." She smirked and kicked me in the gut a few more times before Sashaying away. I managed you get up and stumble into the girls bathroom. I pulled up my shirt and looked into the mirror

I started sobbing I collapsed on the and curled up into a ball and cried until i heard a knock on the door.
" Anna are you ok." I hear the concert in Colby's voice. I push myself off the ground and open the door and see Elton and Colby. I shake my head they pull me into a group hug I wince in pain they instantly let go.
" let's skip the rest of the day?" Elton says I nod.
" we should go to a movie sound good?" Colby asked I nodded and we left.
