I learned that the name of my chauffeur was Michael. He was a tall bald man and he is really down to earth on the inside.

"So, um, Ms. Addington, I'll be around by half past four in the afternoon right after your classes." He said with his solid British accent. My house was an hour away from the University of London. It was really big like three football fields. For the first time in my life, I got nervous. I was afraid of how they will judge me by my looks... tan skin, long layered brown/bronzish hair and my chocolate brown eyes... I'm around different people with different attitudes. But there's not a reason to let my guard down but I also have to change my ways. I guess I have to shut my mouth then to make things better. I went out of the car and got my red messenger bag. I watched as the car faded away and after it was gone, I faced the campus and I took a deep breath then I let out a sigh. I started swaying my legs as I walked by chatting students and laughing ones making the hall seem loud and unbearable which made me a little annoyed. I looked at my schedule and my first class was the principles of management in room 1702 and I have no idea where that room is and I don't know a single human in this institute. Suddenly, I bumped onto someone.

"Hey! Watch it!" I exclaimed then looked at the person... He had curly hair falling on his eyelashes, blue eyes and really pale skin... in other words, he was absolutely gorgeous.

"Sorry, babe. Didn't mean to." He said with his British accent.

"I'm sorry, I'm just... I'm lost. Can you take me to room 1702?" I asked and he grinned then touched my arm.

"Come with me, that's pretty far." He grinned then he offered his hand.

Jay's pov:

I was holding a gorgeous girl's hand. I didn't know why my heart just skipped a beat when I saw her. My eyes flickered between her eyes and her lips. Just then, I knew I felt a connection with her. She was perfect and no one can replace her Goddess like beauty. The next thing I knew, after finding her classroom, we were both standing saying nothing to each other.

end of Jay's pov :)

"So, thank you very much for taking me here. It meant a lot." I said to him and he was just standing there looking at me with his piercing blue eyes. I cleared my throat and he startled and licked his lips which I thought was hot.

"Oh, you're welcome. It's a pleasure." He grinned "My name's Jay and you are?" He asked

"I'm Lauren." I blushed

"It's nice to meet you, Lauren. Now get inside or you'll be marked late." He smiled then knocked the door for me. As long as he disappeared, I turned to face my new and foreign professor. He let me in and gave me a book then let me sit at the back of the classroom. Two hours later, I went out of the classroom and found myself standing in a crowded corridor. I looked around for Jay and I found him talking to another guy in a red cap. I decided to not disturb him because he was in a deep converation with "Cap guy." I looked at my schedule and it's an hour before my free time ends.

Jay's pov

"I swear, Nath. This girl just made my day and she's really beautiful. I feel an instant connection with her, mate." I said

"Well why don't you talk to her again then ask her out?" Nath asked

"But what if she won't say yes. She looks agressive." I answered, scratching the back of my head.

"Well, give her a week before she gets to know you better then whenever you feel the time's right, you go for it." He said, patting my shoulder then he looked at his watch. "Oh, gotta go, mate. Still got class after this." He said

"Alright, I'll see you later." I said then he left me standing there. I went to the canteen and searched the room for an empty table but what caught my eyes were Lauren, eating a salad alone while sketching something and listening to her ipod. I smiled and walked towards her.

-end of Jay's pov-

Suddenly, from out of the blue, I felt someone poke my sides.

"What the fu-" I trailed off when Jay suddenly sat beside me. I closed my sketchpad and removed my earphones. "You got me, Jay." I said

"Sorry, did I disturb you?" He asked

"You aren't now." I said then he nodded with his pursed lips.

"I'm just curious..." He said, looking deeply in my eyes. "You don't look American but you speak American. What's your nationality?" He asked and it made me smile. That question was familiar... like it came out from Daniel's mouth.

"I'm half Filipino and Half British." I smiled and his eyes lightened up

"Wow, Asians and Europeans have the greatest mix like my mate Siva, he's half Sri Lankan and Half Irish, he's tall dark and handsome."

"Why don't you marry him, gosh." I teased and he laughed.

"I know. I probably would but I'm not in to guys." He shrugged and I laughed at him. "I saw what you were sketching a while ago... and it actually looked great." He added the I flicked my eyes from him to my sketchpad then back to him.

"Oh, it's just my past time. It's not that important." I sighed then tuck a lock of my hair behind my ear.

"Not importnat!? Babe, you're actually the greatest I've ever seen when it comes to those things." He grinned and it actually made my day.

"Why thank you, Jay. That meant a lot." I answered

"what course are you taking up if it isn't fine arts?"

"Business management." I replied

"Whoa... that's like the most unrelated things I've ever heard." He chuckled

"I know right? My parents from hell made me do it." I sighed, turning into serious mode, hoping he'll get it and he did.

"Oh, I'm sorry about that." He said to me

"It's fine, I don't look for people's pity anyway because I don't care about it." I told him

"Well you should take a course that your heart wants not what your parents want. Haters will only make you stronger." He answered and I looked at him while he looked at his watch. "Oops babe, I need to go. I'll see you around." He smiled then touched my arm and left. This guy really understands me like how Daniel did when he was alive. It's like he sent Jay to look over for me but it's just my first day so I have to dig deeper in my thoughts and think if he's not distraction.
