6 - Why Don't We Finish What We've Started?

A WEEK LATER

Jay still hasn't spoke to me since what happened last week... Sure it was awkward but it showed me how much I wanted him. I wanted him now that he's pushed himself away from me. I really wanted to talk to him but he just kept on avoiding me... Maybe it's because he has a girl friend now... Oh no... No, Lau, snap out of it! You told yourself to not let your guard down! I failed and I did let my guard down. How awful. But still, I want to know why he's avoiding me. 

-Jay's pov- 

I haven't talked to Lauren because of what I did earlier this week but I really miss her smile and her gorgeous face. I miss her voice too. Maybe it's about time to confess my true feelings for her and I won't let anyone get to her before me. So, I pulled my phone out of my pocket and scrolled through my contacts and as soon as I found her name, I smiled and called her. Two rings later, she answered it. Her voice a music to my ears.

"Um hey, Jay." she said with her strong American accent... How I find that so sexy on her. I cleared my throat and licked my lips.

"Hi, Lau, sorry if I haven't been able to talk to you earlier this week." I finally said

"It's alright, I understand you might be busy." She replied with a little awkwardness hinting in her voice.

"Yeah, I was." I faked then there was silence hovering over our conversation. "So, um... last week was..." I stuttered as I hear her giggle

"Are we seriously gonna do this on the phone?" she asked and I was shocked that she wants to see me.

"Well... we can meet up if you want to." I responded

"Alright, meet me at Starbucks now." She said delightfully then hung up. I decided to just stay in my brown long sleeved button downs, jeans and red Converse as I went to Starbucks. I looked for her and I saw her sitting outside with her earphones shoved in her ears. She looked stunning even in the night light. As soon as I saw her, my face lit up and I just wanted to run into her and just kiss her on the lips but this is a public place so I'll cut a slack. I stood in front of her as she smiled and stood up then gave me a kiss on the cheek and a hug. I felt warm despite the fact that it was cold at night. I sat in ront of her as she kept her ipod.

"So, last week was um..." I paused as I hear her giggle "I'm sorry for that. I'm so embarrassed right now." I went on then she looked at me with a cheeky grin plastered on her face.

-Lauren's pov-

I looked at him and smiled as I brushed my fingers through my hair.

"It's alright, don't be embarrassed... I wasn't." I answered then he let out a sigh of relief.

"Look, Lauren, I really, really like you even though I've only known you for the past week." He blurted out and I felt blood rush to my cheeks.

"I've been..." I paused "Feeling the same way too..." I went on, shifting my eyes from his eyes to his lips and he seemed to notice as his face pulled up a sexy and inviting smile. The next thing I knew, we were in a cab off to his place and forty minutes later, we arrived. We both got out of the car and we went inside their flat. "Where's everyone?" I asked

"They're off to the pub." He said flatly then he got my hand and dragged me to his room.

Omniscient pov

The next thing Lauren knew, she was in Jay's room and he closed the door right after he got inside then, he got her hands and backed her up against the wall.

"Why don't we finish what we've started?" He asked with a cheeky smile on his face. Lauren grinned then tausled the back of Jay's head.

"Sure," She answered with her soft voice. He crashed his lips onto hers and it was light at first. But as long as Lauren felt the lightweight on her lips, she kissed him back harder. Jay's grip on her hand became tighter as he smiled making her bite his lip softly. Then, they slowly walked towards his bed and Jay fell down, letting Lauren fall down with him. Their breathing became heavier as their heart beats raised. She started gripping his shirt like she's asking him to take it off. He grinned and Lauren helped him unbutton his shirt. She tossed it aside then Jay removed her shirt. Their heart beats in sync as well as their lips. Their bodies melting into one as the ecstasy from their breaths invites the other in. He traced his tongue on her lip as if asking permission to let him in and she did. His tongue traced her teeth as she gripped his hair making Jay moan softly. He sucked her bottom lip then he made his way to her neck followed by the sensitive parts of her collarbone and to her stomach before going back to her lips. Then, she started unbuttoning his trousers making him pull away for a moment.

"Are you sure you want this?" He asked in between catching some breath. Lauren nodded with a grin then she leaned in close and continued kissing him. She removed his trousers as Jay unbuttoned hers. He softly gripped her waist as she sat on his lap. He touched the waistband of her undies as she grinned and bit his lip softly.
