Chapter Eight: Sparkle Finally Gets It!!

§Nico's P.O.V.§

The Underworld.

I've asked my father.

I've searched everywhere.

Yet no sign of Percy.

I asked my soldiers to check every river except the Styx and the Lethe.

I'm not that stupid and naïve to jump into the two rivers...

Well that's what I thought before jumping into the Styx.

I held my breath and shut my eyes tightly...This is gonna hurt...

My chest began to burn and plead for oxygen as I felt myself descend...20...40...60 feet below....80....cold floor....80....cold floor....80....muffling voices...80 feet....earthquake....EARTHQUAKE!!!!

"HOLY MOTHER OF POSEIDON'S BLUE UNDERPANTS!" I shriek as I open my eyes only to find myself blinded by a light.

"Gee, how'd you know my dad's underpants was blue and had a mother?" someone chuckles.

I groan and sit up. What. Who can talk underwater?! I mean... under the Styx...never thought of it.....plus how come I can talk? I'm a son of Hades for Pete's sake!!

I blink and blink until the white spots from the sudden brightness vanishes.

Before me stood the person I was was finding for.....

"PERCY!!!"

∅Thalia's P.O.V∅

I can't believe that that Seaweed Brain reacted as if he didn't know about Orion and Annabeth......I swear I remember Annabeth saying Percy knew.....

I grunt as I furiously read the note Percy left again.

" As for my two favorite cousins, Thals and Nics...Pinecone face, I know you and Death breath were the only ones truly searching for me. So I'll IM you people sometime. But never. Ever tell anyone. I also left some surprises in your cabins. No. Not pranks. Death breath...see you in your home!".

He left sacks of golden drachma for me....wait....did he say that.....he was going to Zombie Brain's home?

Before I could react, Nico's face appeared in front of me. As a huntress, of course, I shrieked and tried to smack him. But, unfortunately, it was an Iris Message....

"You're lucky that this is just a hologram-thing you know," I scowl as I give him one of my death glares.

And sadly, he was used to it.

"So," I sigh. "why'd you call– err IM me?".

I looked at the background of the room Nico was in.

I can see about more or less people behind him...they remind me of....never mind....I'm getting off topic.

"It's Percy—" he starts. That was all he had to say to make something snap in my brain. I quickly swiped my hand on the Iris Message, grabbed a sack filled with drachma and a pack of mortal cash and headed for the Hollywood sign.
