"You..." He turned his head to the side, then looked back at her. If he was sharply and intensely staring at EunByeol earlier, now he had a smile plastered on his face that reached from ear to ear.

"You look beautiful tonight, Student Council President," his cheeks stared becoming red when he refused to drop his smile. She smiled at the compliment and politely thanked him.

The two sat back at the bench; no one dared to speak, and only the sound of the calm wind passing could be heard. It felt as if one wants to start a conversation, but afraid that they might speak at the same time; so, they kept quiet and waited until one of them starts to speak.

EunByeol sighed, "about the last time, if you and your girlfriend are still mad at me for doing the punishment... I'm really sorry, I was just doing my job," she leaned against the bench, staring at the dark sky filled with billions of shining stars. She thought, I wonder if shooting stars are real? 'Cause I'd love to see one someday.

But unbeknownst to her, SeungJi formed his hand into fists, "tsk."

"Hm, did you say something, SeungJi?" She asked as she looked at him, concern apparent on her usually expressionless face. She was still his senior, after all.

"I-" SeungJi was cut off when a voice startled him and caused him to lean back from shock. There in the dark, the shadow slowly showed itself, only to reveal EunByeol's mother. She had a small, genuine smile on her face as she ruffled her daughter's hair that caused her to groan and slap her mother's hands away, "don't do that again!"

With a chuckle, she then decided to pinch EunByeol's pointy nose, "it's time for us to go home now, Byeollie," she said and watched her daughter say her farewells to the unknown male; she started to walk when her daughter stood up.

EunByeol looked back at SeungJi one last time. She saw him waving at her even though the place was dark and only a small light illuminated that place.

"Who was that, Byeollie?" Her mother nudged her on the sides.

"Stop calling me 'Byeollie', mom. You and JiHye should stop."

"But who was that man?"

"Yoon SeungJi. He's a first year, a junior. I saw him by the bench and I didn't think he would be there. We chatted nonetheless."

"O-Oh... But, did he interest you? Like, do you like him?"

EunByeol's eyes widened as she stared at her mom in disbelief; as if her mother had just told her she was adopted. "No, mom! He's already committed to someone else." She defended after she sat down on the car.

"I see... But, do you like him, though?" She groaned at her mother's persistence.

"I already said it, mom. No, I don't." With the small pillow on her hand, she placed it by the window and rested, although she still couldn't sleep. The air conditioning in the car was too much, plus she didn't bring a blanket! What a wonderful rest she will have.

EunByeol rested her feet on the coffee table by the living room, eating a piece of chocolate cake along with JiHye right next to her on the couch, repetitively saying that carelessly having her feet up was 'very unladylike.' Though every time she said it, EunByeol would reply with an 'I don't care. I'm in my house and my parents never said anything that I can't place my feet on the coffee table.'

And with every response she said, it ended into a lecture from JiHye about 'lady etiquette', with most of those 'lectures' nonsense and pointless.

After a while, she groaned and gave up; she placed her left leg on the floor and her right leg on the couch instead.
