"Alright, that's all you need to do. Sorry for the bother again, HyeonWoo." EunByeol said over the phone, her feet dangling at the side of her bed.
Once HyeonWoo hung up, she stood up and then moved to sit on her chair. Her brown eyes examined the view outside her window before grabbing a notebook that was piled up on her desk and a pen, then proceeding to answer her homework.
"Convert the following Fahrenheit to Celsius... What on earth? This one's primary stuff." The room was dead silent and only the scribbling of pen on the paper could be heard as EunByeol answered her homework. Not more than ten minutes, the girl was finally done.
"It's still too early... I can't wait for mom and dad to come home." She muttered to herself while staring at the time on her phone.
As if on cue, she heard a sound of a car pulling up, making her lean her head forward to peek and see what's going on. "It's our car..." She commented, before standing up and dashing out of her room to the front door of their house. When she got there, her hands instinctively turned the doorknob and opened the door, only to be greeted by one of the butlers supporting his dad.
"W-what happened to dad?" Her face instantly contorted into worry, waiting for the butler's answer.
"Don't worry too much, young lady, master only caught a fever," he replied.
"And where's mom?"
"Mistress offered to finish her and Master's paperwork, so she will arrive home late. Please excuse me." And with that, the butler bowed and led Mr. Kang to his room.
EunByeol's eyes didn't leave her father's figure, only following it with her eyes, until he disappeared onto the second floor. A sigh escaped her lips before she headed back to her room. She decided to visit her father later, for she was sure that he was resting and she didn't want to bother him.
Just before she could take the step to the first stair, the door gently opened once again, causing her to whip her head and look at the door. With a confused look, she looked at the maid - who she often saw taking care of the plants - and asked her to speak.
The neatly-dressed maid took steps towards EunByeol before speaking up, "uhm, young lady, pardon, but you have a visitor. He's waiting for you outside." She bowed, awkwardly excusing herself to continue taking care of the plants.
"A visitor?" The female asked to nobody in particular, before thinking up of possible male visitors who knew of her house.
"HyeonWoo and JiHoon don't know where I live... And I don't have male friends." She thought to herself. After a full minute, she shrugged her shoulders and decided to meet her unknown visitor.
Her sandals clicked as she made her way to the gate to greet her unknown visitor. When she got close, she couldn't make out who he was; his head was down, therefore making his bangs fall in front of his face. It was also noticeable that the male was fidgeting with his fingers.
"Uhm, are you looking for me?" The boy immediately whipped his head up in shock, which in return startled EunByeol.
"S-SeungJi..?" EunByeol's eyes narrowed. How could he possibly know where she lives when she spoke nothing about it?
The said male laughed awkwardly, setting his view on the ground once again. "I know what you're thinking. I bet you feel creep out because I found out where you live, right, Student Council President?" He commented. "I promise I'm not a stalker! I asked JiHye-seonbaenim last Friday for your address, because I was going to ask you something, but... I'm too shy to ask you directly." SeungJi defended, his face red and arms crossed in front of him, forming an "x".
