"Hey," said a voice, startling EunByeol and bringing her back to reality.

She turned her head around and smirked as she saw the person, "oh, it's just you, mister min." She scooted over to the bench, offering him a seat right beside her.

A low groan escaped his lips as he sat down, his eyes stared at EunByeol's gloomy expression. YoonGi wasn't used to this, he was used to seeing her monotonous expression yet deadly and bossy attitude whenever they meet; for him, she was entertaining that way. The EunByeol beside him right now wasn't.

"You aren't acting like yourself." He finally said, staring at the ground.

"So are you." EunByeol replied after a few seconds, now fiddling the hem of her crimson blazer.

Silence took over, and none of them wanted to speak. Several minutes passed and the silence was replaced with laughter or incoherent talking from students who are entering the school with their own group of friends. Even so, none of them made a move. Both EunByeol and YoonGi listened to the mixed chattering of students and the sound of their shoes making a clicking sound as they walked.

"Is it your first time failing your duty as student council president?" YoonGi finally asked after a long period of silence. His lips was slowly curving up into a smirk.

The female beside him sighed and put her thumb and pointer finger on the bridge of her nose; she was not in the mood to be mad, and she can't scold him because class hasn't yet started. She wondered if he could give him punishment for disrespecting her, surely he'll get his parents called. Right? Once again, EunByeol sighed. She was not in her right mind, and she needed to be alone. Offering him a seat was a bad idea, she should've shooed him away.

She shook her head to clear her mind, "can you please leave me alone?" With a voice as light as a feather, she asked. EunByeol didn't want anyone dying- and she was wondering why this has to happen.

"But you're the one who offered a seat." YoonGi put his arms behind his head, leaning back on the bench as he attempted to relax.

"I know, and I also know now that it was a bad idea." EunByeol groaned and stood up, deciding that if he wouldn't leave, then she will. For her, it was very pointless if she continued this any further.

EunByeol examined her surroundings, looking for isolated places she could go and think. Maybe the student council room? She shook her head at the thought, the other student council officers are there everyday, and very much likes to make mess and are experts at being noisy.

Her expression slightly lit up for a second. Right! How could she forget? The rooftop was a place with enough space and students rarely go there. But then she remembered the back of the gym. Her mind battled- what was better? The back of the gym or the rooftop?

After a minute of debating with herself, she finally decided and started walking towards the direction of the rooftop. "I guess it's alright." She muttered to herself, "plus, it's closer than going to the back of the gym."

She looked down as she walked, occasionally looking up to see if she's going the right way or if a student is not looking on their way as well and is about to collide onto her. Thankfully, the students were automatically moving to the other side as they see her walking by. Ah, the perks of being a fearsome yet respected council president.

"Oh! Miss President!" She raised her head up as she heard the voice. Looking ahead, she saw SeungJi. He rapidly walked down the stairs and slowed down as their distance narrowed. EunByeol was about to greet him back, but she noticed something missing.
