As I jump back from the shock of hearing and seeing Jack, I see that Zach is blushing furiously.
"Oh... hi Jack. I was just kissing him on his slap mark..." I say matter of factly.
I'm blushing too of course, which makes it seem like I'm lying.
"Yep, sure...explains why you two are blushing so hard.
Zach, you can't keep luring fans to fall in love with you, it's not fair" Jack says this and he looks serious, more serious than I've ever seen him.
Zach stands up from the couch and his blush dies down. I stand up behind him and I'm looking at the both of them as they exchange looks- which looks like glares but could be some other form of communication between them that I don't understand.
"Shut up dude...why don't you believe Eli?"
He sounds kinda pissed.
"Because...." Jack answers back and it's obvious he's hiding something behind his words.
"Because what?" Zach barks back.
"Jeez, calm down Zach. I only came in because I had enough, you guys were taking ages. I was gonna get a snack but y'all were.... kissing"
"It was hardly a kiss Jack" I scoff.
"It sure looked 'intense'" Zach says sarcastically and sure enough, Jack says in a whiny voice,
"Stop being sarcastic, I'm supposed to be the sarcastic one."
Which is true, Jack has always been the sarcastic and sassy one of the group.
"Whatever you guys were doing anyways, I need it to stop. You're only here for 4 more days Eli, we can't get you falling in love now..." Jack looks at me as he says this and maintains his serious look.
"Are you... jealous?" I say as I laugh.
I only said it as a joke but Jack gives me a dirty look.
"N-no. Of course not. Why? Why would I be? Any reason?"
Okay, that's weird.
Jack stuttered and also denied it so hard whilst asking questions.
What if Jack really is jealous?!
I shake that thought out of my head.
As if.
"Awh, don't worry Jacky...that kiss was only friendly, nothing romantic to it" I say back in a mocking, childish tone.
Right at that moment, the other guys walk in but Sara doesn't.
She must've gone home because she lives close by.
"What's romantic?" asks Daniel, as he and the others casually walk in.
"Nothing"Zach answers him back and as I study his face, the slap mark is much less significant now, thank god.
"Did y'all sort it out?" Corbyn asks Zach and I.
We answer back in unison, "yes".
So, just like that, we're back to our normal selves.
I'm still in my freaking gorgoeus dress, so I change back to my earlier outfit in the downstairs bathroom.
I re-emerge from the bathroom and I go to the kitchen, where they're all speaking with eachother. They're deciding on where to go for food.
