Hey, my lovelies! How's it going? Miss me? First, I just want to say thank you to those who are still reading this book. It means the world to me that you ACTUALLY are enjoying it. Honestly, I never thought anyone would read this and every time I put something like this down, I imagine talking to a white screen...

Anyways! I'm so grateful and I love you all <3, this is for you.

Second, I actually completely forgot I already wrote this chapter. I was going through some previous chapters, editing them and all, when I got to the end and was like, "What happened next?!?!?!?! I wanna know what happens next!" Then it dawned me that I was the author and I could create what happened next. LOL. I'm bat-shit crazy, deal with it. So then I was like, "Oh frick! I already wrote the next thing. Ahhhhhhhhh! Work double time Bika, you gotta upload this!"

So here I am. Hope you enjoy it because I certainly will. ;)

Chapter Thirteen ~ Just Like Tom Cruise Did It

I stared at my phone, turning it over and over absentmindedly. Liam eventually sat down, leaning against the wall across from me.

"What happened this morning?" Liam asked, jumping me from my thoughts. I looked up at him in confusion.

"What do you mean?"

"The whole awkward, leave-me-alone thing? You just completely ghosted."

"And what about it?"

"Nothing, it's just...confusing."

I raised an eyebrow, "Confusing for you?"

"No, for them. You should have seen how pissed off Ronnie was."

Oh. That's a bad thing.

"Sorry," I muttered, the rebellious part of me actually dancing in victory, leaving my sane mind to wonder why.

"Look." Liam's stare looked so serious I felt myself turning to stone like one of Medusa's victims. "I don't want my friends getting into a fight because of a girl, okay? I've seen that happen before and it sucks. For everyone."

My eyes widened and I immediately looked down, chuckling nervously, "I'm—I'm not in the middle of them." Now, this? This I was not expecting. I knew I should've kept my distance, but them fighting? That was unbelievable, ridiculous, and totally insane.

He gave a short laugh sounding like he didn't believe me. "Trust me, you will."

Oh, God. This is not going well.

I felt myself sliding down the wall, this was making me increasingly uncomfortable. A pang of guilt filled my whole stomach as I said softly, "I don't want to be in the middle."

"Good, I think it's better that way. You don't have any feelings for them?"

"No?" I squeaked out, feeling queasy with myself. I didn't know why I hated this feeling, it felt like I was cheating somebody, and I didn't even know who. A curious question came up to me and I asked it before I could tell myself to shut the hell up. "And—and they do?"

Liam sighed, "I don't know, but I think they could."

"You're kidding me," I whispered, my voice barely audible, and not because I couldn't see that coming, I mean come on, who doesn't love me? No, it was because in the end, it would turn out worse than Barney trying to do a handstand.

That exact second of the climax of silence was when my phone rang. It freaking rang. I squealed, dropping it to the ground. "I'm Sexy and I Know it" started playing and I felt my cheeks heating up. Liam cracked up as I stared dumbly at the phone.
