Chapter Seventeen ~ Pakodi
All of next day, I managed to be as quiet, and as blended in as possible. And it wasn't for the fear of Reece, no, I already proved him wrong, but it was because of all the looks people were giving each other because of me! Where is she? Where did she go? I bet she moved to Antartica.
But it was Friday in the English Reincarnation class when Zamir was the first to notice me.
"There you are!" He said loudly while coming up to me. It was a good thing that there were only a few people there. In hopes of convincing him that I'm NOT me, I turned around with the back of my hoodie facing him.
I waited a long moment and when I didn't hear a sound, I turned back around, only to gasp and whip myself back to the wall.
"You know that your hair sticking out of that hoodie is a dead giveaway. Nobody has hair that long."
I sigh, turning to face a hopeful Zamir. "Was it really that obvious?" I cross my arms in a mock frustration. "Because I thought I did a really good job yesterday." I raise my eyebrows and smile teasingly.
Surprise filled his face, "Oh! We thought you ran off the edge of a cliff."
"Nope. I was a shadow..." smiling at a reference in my mind I said in a whispered voice, "white shadowwww."
He tilted his head in confusion.
"Turbo?"
He blinked.
"You have no idea what that is?"
I laughed, shaking my head, "How many children movies do you watch?"
"Zero." The funny part was that he had no idea how ridiculous he sounded.
"Oh my gosh!" I gaped at him, "Not even Frozen? Cars? Book of Life? Despicable Me?!"
He chuckled at that last one, "That's a children's movie?"
I huffed, "How despicable. Well then, one day, you are coming over and we are watching the best of the best movies. Deal?" I hold out my hand for him to shake.
He shook it, "Deal."
"Oh and also...you never saw me. White shadowwwww."
I slipped out of the door thankful for the bell that just rang, also noticing that I didn't give him a chance to ask about the video.

Now it was detention time and the last day I had to be here. Ronnie knew that I was at school yesterday but for some reason wouldn't either talk to me nor even acknowledge my presence. I also gathered that he didn't tell his friends.
