Writing Prompt: "Dear Lord I want his babies"

I sat in the library, studying with my friends. We were all gathered around a large square, wooden table. The table had textbooks and coffees, along with notebooks and loose notebook paper. We had been studying all afterschool and the sun had just set. It, being winter meant the days were shorter. which it meant that it was only five-thirty and the sun had gone to sleep for the day. My friends and I who could care less about studying played a little game when we were on a break. We would look at people and guess what they were studying.

"That one?" My best friend, Luna said.

"Medical doctor," I replied

"How would you know?"

"Just look at him, he's speed walking everywhere," I replied giggling a little.

"Her?" Jack asked.

I starred at her for a while, watching her body movements and how she was talking about what I assumed as her friend. "Definitely a teacher of some sort, I'm thinking seventh-grade geography"

"She is holding a geography book," they said agreeing.

I starred down in my textbook, writing a few more questions down on my paper with a recently sharpened tip. My friend nudged me and I looked up, confused.

"What about him?" Lexi asked.

I starred at the male for a while, He had brown hair and was pretty much the same height as me. He caught me staring and him and he winked. I looked at him surprised as I stared into his dark brown orbs, sparkling in the cheap, library lights. He turned back to his friends who were talking to him, before looking over at me weirdly.

"Dear Lord I want his babies," I said out loud.

I friends all tried their best not to laugh since we were in a library, but they ended up just quietly snickering. His friends and he just looked back at us and I sat there blushing like a girl with a crush. He smirked at me before walking into another place in the library. I saw him walk out of a row of shelves, holding a book. He walked over to me and handed me the book.

"Turn to page three hundred and ninety-four." He said.

I starred down in the book and read the title. Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. Being the nerd I was I watched as he walked away, wondering why he had to give me the wrong book. And then I remembered that Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban only had three hundred and seventeen pages. I opened the page and saw a sticky note with what I only hoped was his number written on it. I smiled, at him as I watched him leave the library with a few books in hand.

"He's definitely studying electrical engineering and physics," I said.

I walked back to my dorm with my friend, and we were talking about the big exam before Christmas break. We had set aside another study date before we broke off and went into our separate dorm rooms. I walked into my room and saw that everything was how I felt it. I don't have a roommate so I lived by myself. It was pretty great considering I didn't have to worry about them.

I walked into my room and sat my bag on the floor next to my bedroom door. I walked over to my bed, flopping on it before looking at my phone. I saw that the contacts were open and I reached into my pocket and pulled out the note. I quickly typed his number on my phone, he didn't give me his name so I smiled and decided to give his number a name.
