My Darling

Chapter 1

Sunday.                                 6 Oct.

Aeri's POV
I woke up early this morning because i heard someone calling me to come have breakfast.

After i took a bath, i went downstairs, i saw a very familiar face.. It was junhoe.
Junhoe is my best friend since we're 7 years old.

'Good morning!' He smiled
'What are you doing here?' I asked.
'I wanted to talk to you about something.' He said, scratching his nape.
'What is it that you wanna talk about?'
'I'll tell you later'
'I'm hungry...what's for breakfast?' I asked, looking at my empty plate.
'Your mom made pancakes. Here, have one' he laid a pancake on my plate.

As i was eating my pancake, he stared at me.

'What?' i asked with my mouth full.
'Don't talk when your mouth is full aeri dear' my mom told me and ruffles junhoe's hair.

I stopped chewing and i glared at junhoe.

'Aeri-ah you're gonna come with me to the library later'
'But..'
'Don't be such a baby and just come with me'
'What about chanwoo?'
'He doesn't want to go'
'That's weird.. He's always with you Wherever you go' I said with a puzzled look on my face.
'Just.. Finish your breakfast and get dressed'
'Okay' i continued eating my pancake.

I ran upstairs and look for an outfit to wear. I pulled out a black plain sweatshirt and a pair of skinny jeans. Since it's cold outside, I brought my scarf with me. As I ran back downstairs, I saw a guy leaning on the door frame with his back facing me, talking to junhoe.

'Uhh' I interrupted their conversation.
'What took you so long?' Junhoe said, making his friend turn around.
'aeri!' He turned to me.
'Yunhyeong!' I threw my arms around him giving him a hug.
'It's been so long!' He hugged me back.
'Stop it! Get in the car!' Junhoe shouted, waiting in the car.

We laughed and we finally got in the car. We didn't talk much in the car because Junhoe kept smirking at me because he knew I used to like him. I've had a crush on him for more than a year but i know he doesn't like me. He dated a girl who used to be in my class.We were kinda close. His girlfriend knew that I liked him. They dated and then she never talked to me again ever since.

'We're here' Junhoe said, getting out of the car.
'Junhoe-ah, I'm hungry' I whined
'You just ate pancakes' junhoe looked at me, confused
'I know but..' I said, playing with my fingers.
'aeri, look!' Yunhyeong points at a hot dog stall.
'Wahhh!' I screamed
'Let's go!'yunhyeong said.
'Junhoe-ah aren't you coming?' i asked.
'Go ahead' junhoe said in a low tone

As he entered the library, yunhyeong pulled my arm and we went to the hot dog stall. After we got our hot dogs, we sat on the bench outside the library. We talked about what we've been doing. I asked him about his girlfriend, hara.

'Is hara doing okay?'
'Huh?' He looked at me with his eyes wide open.
'What?' I asked thoughtlessly.
'Umm..well' he stammered.
'Oh! I'm sorry! I didn't mean to..' I quickly apologized to him.
'It's okay.. i guess you didn't know?
'I..i didn't' i stuttered
'Well, she.. Hara said she wanted to focus on her  studies.'
' Oh..' i said, feeling sorry for him

I don't know why i wasn't happy hearing it. I think he really like her. I have always wanted to hear those words coming out of his mouth. But I wasn't so happy about it.

'We should go back inside.. Junhoe's waiting' he smiled at me.
'Go ahead, I have to go wash my hands' I smiled at him back.
'Be quick, okay?'
'Okay!' I said as I ran to the restroom.

After I washed my hands, I ran out the toilet and ran into someone and fell. I couldn't see because my hair was covering my eyes.

'Hey! Watch where you're going you..' The guy yelled
'I'm sorry! I wasn't looking at where I...' I said and lifts my head
'Aish..seriously!' He yelled again
'Aish koo junhoe!' I yelled
'Shhh!' He pinched my cheeks
'That hurts!' I whispered
'Let's go' he rest his arms around my shoulder and we walked in the reading section together.
