My Darling

Chapter 4

Monday.                                 7 Oct.

I woke up to the sound of my alarm. My aunt is sending me and hyora to school today. I know school is almost over but her mother insisted because hyora has to take the big test this October.

Before we got out of the car, we said goodbye to my aunt soo hyun and when we were about to enter the school gate, Junhoe ran towards me and slapped my arm. It didn't hurt because I'm used to it.

'You're early today' I looked at him and smiled.
'Why are you smiling so much today? You usually come to school with a frown' he laughed.
'Well, junhoe.. This is my cousin, hyora. Hyora, this is junhoe.' I introduced them to each other and smiled.
'Hi, I'm hyora.' She pulled out a hand for him to shake.
'Junhoe' he said  and  shake  hyora's hand.
'Well.. Hyora, let me give you a tour around the school' I said.
'I'll go with you' junhoe said and puts his hand on my head.
'You don't have to' I glared at him.
'I really do' he pouted.
'Fine. Just don't wander off to other places.' I said, pulling his hoodie's arm sleeve.
'I won't. I'll be right beside you' he smiled and winked.
'Aishh' I huffed.
'Shall we?' Hyora giggled.
'Follow me.' I said, excited.

We  walked  around  the  school  with  Junhoe  following  us  from  behind. After  a  long  morning  of  walking  and  talking, I  glanced  at  Junhoe's  face, he  got  bored. I  just turned  away  and  chuckled.

Junhoe leaned on my back, resting his chin on my head and wrapping his arms around my neck. We stopped and talk in front of hyora's class, he kept interrupting me. I got so annoyed and pinched him.

'Agh! Seriously!' He joked.

I just ignored him and walked together to class.

Recess

Junhoe and I walked to hyora's class to go get her and walked to the cafeteria together. We walked to a table where chanwoo sat waiting for Junhoe and me.

'Junhoe! Aeri! Over here.' he shouted and waved at us, telling us to sit with him at his table.

'We can see you chanu' Junhoe sat down.
'Oh! Chanwoo, this is hyora, hyora, this is chanwoo' I said.
'Nice to meet you, I'm Jung Chanwoo' he smiled.
'I'm hyora, nice to meet you too!' She smiled.

I had no appetite because I have a stomach ache since this morning but I just pretended it didn't bother me.

'Why aren't you eating, aeri?' Chanwoo asked.
'I'm  not  hungry.' I said.
'You're going to starve aeri..'
Hyora said with a worried look on her face.
'Here..' Junhoe offered me a spoonful of rice.
'No..' I pouted.
'You should at least have a drink.' Chanwoo offered me a juice box he brought from home.

I just drank the juice because I don't want them to worry about me.

Junhoe's POV

Aeri didn't eat anything. Is she mad? Is she okay? Is she upset?
I kept looking at her during recess but she ignored me and she won't take her eyes off her book.

'Aeri' I tried talking to her
'What?' She asked, still looking at her book.
'Want one?' I offered her a candy bar.
'No.' She said, short and simple.

I started thinking about what I did this morning. I interrupted her while she's talking to hyora and leaned on her back this morning. Is she that upset?

After recess...

Aeri's POV

my stomach hurts so bad I wanted to go home but I didn't because it was hyora's first day here and I didn't want to leave her not knowing what to do and where to go.

Junhoe and I walked to class like always but we didn't talk at all  but  he  kept  on  looking at me. I  felt  sorry  that  I  didn't talk  to  him during  recess.

I just sat quietly in class until class is over. I didn't write down the notes because my stomach hurts so bad and my hands were shaking.
