'So.. When do you start?' I asked as we walked to the snack shop to get ice cream.
'probably this Friday.' He replied with a smile.
'What class?' I asked, hoping we could be classmates again.
'Uh..5B' he checked his phone.
Bingo. Classmates! I hope he sits in front of me and Junhoe. He was the class monitor back then before he moved to another school.
'We're classmates then.' I looked up at him.
'Well, looks like we're destined to be together.' He looked down at me to face me and laughed.
'You're destined to be with Junhoe.' I laughed.
They were very close even though me and Junhoe were friends since we were little kids.
'Anyway..' He chuckled.
'We're here!' I huffed.
We entered the shop and bought ice cream. He got chocolate and I got myself a strawberry flavored ice cream. We sat down on a bench right outside the shop.
'I'm worried about the big test.' He sighed.
'Good luck.' I reached for his hand and gave it a squeeze.
'You too.' He looked at me and smiled.
'I'm worried because I didn't have time to do revisions because of the whole moving thing.' He sighed.
I didn't say a word after he told me about the hard times he's having.
'I'm sorry..' I put my hand on his shoulder.
'It's nothing.' He smiled weakly.
When we were about to walk back to the cafe, Yunhyeong and I went for an evening stroll at a nearby park.
' I used to go here with my grandma all the time when I was 8.' Yunhyeong started talking.
'That's sweet.' I giggled.
'We used to go picnic here and I would play with my kite.' He looked at a place where people were just sitting around
'Maybe we should have a picnic here sometimes.' I stare at my feet while walking.
'We should.' He chuckled, looking at the gorgeous blue sky.
We didn't talk much and we decided to go back to the cafe.
'So, do you have any plans this Saturday?' He kicked small rocks while we were walking back to the cafe.
'Actually, Junhoe and I were invited to a wedding. Why?'
'Wedding?' He looked at me, shocked.
'Yeah, Jennie's brother is getting married.'
'I was going to take you to a nature park that just opened last week.'
'A nature park? I've always wanted to go to a nature park.'
'You've never been to a nature park before?'
'I have..When I was 7 or maybe 8' I said, embarrassed.
'You should come with.' He smiled.
'Maybe Sunday?' I blushed.
'Sunday it is then.' He smiled sheepishly.
We walked into the cafe and saw Yunhyeong's grandmother feeding the cats cat treats.
'Nana..' I hugged yunhyeong's grandmother.
'Leaving already?' She hugged me back.
'I'll be back.' I smiled when yunhyeong who is standing behind his grandmother looked at me with a huge smile on his face.
'Take care, aeri dear.' She pulled away from the hug.
'I will.'
Yunhyeong's grandmother is very nice. No wonder yunhyeong is such a sweetheart. Like his grandmother.
Yunhyeong started the car, his grandmother waved us goodbye and he drove me home.
I got home safely and we bid our goodbyes. When I was about to open the door, another person opened the door from the inside and I saw hyora who was about to take out the trash.
'Oh, hey! You're back.' She said with a smile and rushed to get rid of the trash.
'Hey.' I laughed when she almost tripped.
'So.. How did it go?' She smirked and we both walked to the kitchen.
'It was okay.' I grabbed an apple from the fruit basket on the counter.
'Hmm. Nothing else?' She raised an eyebrow and followed me to my room.
'Let's see..' I tapped my chin, pretending to think back what I did with yunhyeong today.
'Well?' She sat on a bean bag near my bed.
'Well..'
I told her everything that happened with yunhyeong today. Literally every single thing.
'It's great that you guys get to be classmates again.' She got up and jumped around my room.
'I know right?' I laughed and screamed in excitement.
'Ooh... Aeri and Yunhyeong sitting in a tr-' she started singing like a child. Definitely not my child.
'Stop.' I playfully hit her shoulder.
'why am I getting more excited than you.' She stopped and sat on the bean bag.
'I am excited, I'm just exhausted.'I sighed.
When I was about to get my water bottle on my bedside table when hyora slapped my hand and took the water bottle and handed it to me.
'Here you go princess. You must be really tired.' She giggled.
'Thanks. You really didn't have to do that.' I laughed and took the bottle from her.
' aren't you going downstairs for dinner?' She walked to the door.
'I'm gonna relax in here for a bit.' I said and grabbed my towel to take a shower.
'Okay.' She walked out the room.
