Chapter 9

Aeri's POV

I woke up when someone started pounding on my desk and pulling my hoodie. It was chanwoo. Gosh. I thought it was the teacher.

'What are you doing here?' I asked chanwoo, rubbing my eyes.
'What do you mean what am I doing here! It's recess.' He shouted and started dragging me to the school cafeteria.
'Recess?!' I asked, with my mouth wide open.
'What the..' He stopped dragging me.
'I was sleeping! How would I know?' I yelled.
'You two, stop arguing like children.' Junhoe walked between me and chanwoo.

We sighed and followed Junhoe from behind, arguing quietly.

We sat at a table where hyora, Jennie and hanbin waited.

'What took you guys so long?' Jennie whined.
'Sorry guys, I was busy.' I murmured as I sat down next to Jennie.
'Really busy.' Junhoe bursted out laughing.
'She slept in class and didn't know it was recess.' Chanwoo explained.
'I didn't sleep last night.' I huffed. 'Why not?' Jennie asked.
'I slept at 12 but woke up at probably 1 because I had a bad dream and ended up sleeping at 3 in the morning and had to wake up at 6!' I rubbed my face.
'Really?' Hanbin raised an eyebrow.
'Interesting..' Hyora teased.
'Guys..' I groaned.

'Anyway..' Jennie chuckled, reaching for something in her lunch bag.
'Tadaa!' she shouted and took out six tickets.
'We're going to Blue Lagoon water park!' She threw her hands up.
'Wow! You bought tickets for us?' Chanwoo leaned forward to take a closer look at the tickets.
'Well, you see.. My brother works there and he bought tickets for us and I promised to pay him back.' She explained.
'So, we'll pay?' Hanbin looked at Jennie, shocked.
'Jennie, the ticket.. It's way to pricey.' I looked down at the tickets.
'We can't pay for this.' Hyora pouted.

We all looked at Jennie, disappointed.

'Guys, there's nothing to worry about.' She laughed.
'Nothing to worry about? Jennie, we can't pay for these crazy expensive tickets!' Junhoe gave the ticket back to Jennie.
'Guys, hear me out.' She shushed.
'The tickets are not that pricey because my brother is getting married there and you'll only have to pay for.. 15 only!' She clapped her hands, excited.
'Wait wait.. Seriously?' I asked excitedly.

'Oh my God!' Hyora hugged Jennie.
'So, your brother rented the whole place?' Junhoe asked.
'Sadly, no.' She pouted.
'They only rented the main hall.' 'But, since I'm his favourite sister.. My brother and his beautiful bride-to-be will be treating us!' She shouted, couldn't hide her excitement.
'Woah!' Is he that rich?' Hanbin shouted, impressed.
'No way!' I slapped Jennie's arm.
'What will we be wearing?' Chanwoo asked.
'It's a wedding, chanwoo-ah. Oh, and bring appropriate attires for the activities we'll be doing  at  the  water  park.' She winked  and laughed  excitedly.
'Are you sure that we're invited?' Junhoe crossed his arms.
'I already told him that I'll be inviting you guys and a friend of mine, is a friend of his.' She giggled.

She's super excited to go and so am I. We walked to our classes and I couldn't stop thinking about the wedding. We can also spend more time together!

When Junhoe and I were on our way to our class, I couldn't stop talking about the wedding and the activities we'll be doing. Junhoe looked down at me and told me to not remind him about it but I was too excited I couldn't hold it in. I kept tapping my pen on the desk, thinking about it.
