My Darling

Chapter 3

I just realized that I fell asleep on my bed as soon as I got In my room and woke up at 2p.m. I got out of bed and look out my window. I saw a car parked outside and heard the door bell rang.

I went downstairs and my aunt looked at me, surprised.

'Aeri? Is that you?' She asked  and walk  towards  me.
'Aunt soo hyun!' I hugged  her  tight.
'You've grown so much!' She said, holding  my  face.
'Well..' I chuckled. I missed her so much. We haven't seen each other for 4 years.

After we talked, My mom called us for dinner and we had dinner together with my whole family.

My  cousin, hyora  got transferred here and  got  accepted by the high school  I'm going to! I got so excited because we were so close when we were little kids.

'So, hyora.. Are you sure you want to live here until you finish college?' Her mom, aunt soo hyun asked.
'Yes mother.. I'll be just fine. Besides, I have aeri with me' she smiled at me.
'We'll be stuck together like glue' I squealed in excitement.
'Yes! If you don't mind..' She added.
'As long as it's you I don't mind at all' I chuckled
'That's sweet of you dear' my mom said, happy to see us getting along after 4 years of not seeing each other.

We watched movies together because they're staying here until Tuesday and  had  to  fly  back  to  Australia on Tuesday  morning.

I felt bad for hyora because her parents has to work in Australia.

'Hyora-ah' I called her and I showed her a room for her to stay while living with us.
'Woah!' She said, impressed.

I decorated the room with plush toys, pictures and I also hung up fairy lights around the room and decorated the bedside table with  flowers, her favourite books, a mirror and scented candles.

'It's beautiful!' She said and looks around the room and laughed when she saw a picture of us when we were kids.
'Ohh aeri-ah, I remember this' she said and holds up a doll with a purple  dress.
'I found it in my old toybox in the attic while I was cleaning the attic last week'
'Aww aeri, you shouldn't have' she said.
'It's no  big  deal, really'I said  and  smiled.
'So thoughtful of you'
'It's nothing' I said, blushing.
'Well I'll be downstairs if you need me' I said, leaving her in her room.

Just as I was about to sit down on the couch, I received a text from my friend, haerin. She told me the school this November and since high  school  is  pretty  much over after  the  big  test this  October  which  means.. A month  before  the  dance! :))

I'll  miss  high  school. I  smiled  at  my  phone.

'I'll  be  there :)'
'Okay, cool!'

I  don't know  why  I'm afraid  to  go. It's probably because  you  have  to  bring  a  date  to  the  dance.

My mom would tell  me  to  go  with  junhoe. Because  she  worry  too  much. I  then  decided  not to  go  but  then  another  person  texted  me. It  was one of my close friend, Jennie.

Jennie✨: Aeri!! Are  you  going to  prom  this  November?
Aeri:) : I'll think about it
Jennie✨: Whyy? Don't you  miss  me?
Aeri:) : of course I miss you ;)
Aeri:) : I don't know if I want to go..
Jennie✨: hey, it's okay if you don't have a date aeri!
Aeri:) : I'll tell you when I change my mind.
Jennie✨: sure.. Later! <3
Aeri:) : byee <3
