Hermione's POV

Hermione has just apparated outside of Gringotts when Ginny popped up in front of her.

" hey mione !, so I have so many places we could go like ad.." but before she could start listing off multiple different stores Hermione cut her off.

" actually Ginny I was wondering if we could go to 'Flourish and Blotts '? Pleaseeee , I really need to get some books before going back to Hogwarts, I swear we'll be in then out in five pleaseeee "

Ginny let out a very annoyed groan " ugh , fine I knew we would eventually have to go in anyway but I'll tell you right now if we are in there for more than five minutes I'm leaving without you kapeesh ? "

Hermione started jumping up and down excitedly " yippee thanks so so so much I swear I'll be quick "

so they started to make their way down the streets of Diagon Alley towards Flourish and Blotts .

Draco's POV

"So what books are you actually needing " Draco turned round to a very bored looking Blaise.

" just a few ,will you stop being a moany git and just wait a few minutes " Draco answered before disappearing behind multiple rows of books .

Draco had actually got all of the books he needed the day before but he wouldnt admit to Blaise that he was actually coming to get a few books to read while in the dorm rooms. Draco had one book in mind that had always seemed to be out with someone so he was hoping he'd got there before anyone else could get it. He'd been walking for quite a bit when he finally came to the row "history " Draco looked at the sign on the row before walking down looking through the rows of books which were all in alphabetical order so he was finding it easy to find the book, e,f,g,h , Draco had looked when he saw it " Hogwarts :A history " Draco didn't know why he'd always wanted to read it but now , finally he'd get a chance to but just as he reached up to take it a hand hit the top of Draco's hand , when he turned to see who it was he Instantly knew who it was " granger " there in front of him was Hermione granger the " mudblood" he thought , he hadn't called her that for a while now because when your working for one of the most powerful man in the world there isn't really much room to be fussing with things like name calling.but he was brought out of his thought by someone saying his name , it was granger.

" what?"

Hermione looked at him like he was a complete idiot.

" I said , that I'm sorry but I'm taking this book , I read it every year so it's crucial to have it " .

Draco looked at her and smirked " so it's you who always takes it , I have been wanting to read this for years and like you said you read this every year so there's really no need for you to read it "

Draco said just before he nudged Hermione's hand of his and started to walk away with the book in his hand and as expected a very annoyed looking Hermione granger on his tail.

" Draco where are you going we are not finished this conversation , I need that book! "

But Draco just ignored her until a small frizzy haired girl appeared infront of him , he didn't know how Hermione had gotten in front of him so quickly but he knew she was determined not to let him past.

" granger what the hell and you doing , get out of my way ".Draco said before trying to push past her again.

" no I will not , I need that book and I'm not letting you leave without it "

Draco just looked at her with a evil grin starting to spread across his face

" oh this is fantastic , you really think you can stop me from leaving , just get out of my way before I make you move "

But Hermione still stood there with a determined expression on her face , so Draco just simply grabbed her waist and shifted her out of his way , she was surprisingly light Draco thought to himself before making his way over to the frail looking old women that sat at the front desk of Flourish and Blotts. Draco nearly made it to the front desk when all he heard before dropping to the ground was Hermione Granger shouting.

" pretrificus totalas!" Then Draco looked round to then see Hermione granger leaning over the top of him.

" sorry , I really need this book " she then pricked the book out of his hands before walking off quickly.

Hermione's POV

Hermione was still very fazed with what had just happened , she had just stunned Draco Malfoy for a book and had just left him there unable to move Hermione had a sudden rush of guilt hit her and she was just about to walk back to Draco when she caught sight of a rather bored looking Slytherin sitting on one of the couches in the library ' Blaise Zabini ' she then walked over to him and tapped him on the shoulder.

" granger? what the hell do you want ? "

she just smiled at him ignoring the bitterness in his tone.

" I think Draco might need some help he seems to have fallen and can't really get back up "

that's all she said before a confused looked Blaise ran off in the direction of Draco , but just as Hermione had noticed that Ginny was no longer in the library , Ginny burst through the door with nearly a dozen bags all hanging off her arms.

" I just decided to do the shopping by myself because I knew you definitely were not going to be only five minutes , wait why are you blushing ? "

Hermione has just noticed the warmth in her cheeks when she was still thinking about what had just happened.

" what ? , no it must just be warm in here , come on let's go back to mine I'm really quite hungry "

Hermione explained quickly as she dragged Ginny out of the shop and they both apparated to Hermione's flat .
