Chapter 4: Only if you kiss me
"What in the world happened to you, Malfoy?" Hermione's eyebrows were stitched together while she walked towards Malfoy with a tray of various medicines.
" Nothing..." Draco trailed off, staring at the medicines that were in different colours, wondering which he would need to take or if he would simply need to take all of them.
" These three..." Hermione mumbled to herself as she poured the medicines onto teaspoons. She sat the tray in front of Draco as he got up.
" Drink it." she said.
"No." Draco retorted. He groaned upon looking at the medicines... Hermione had picked out the nastiest looking ones out of the bunch.
" What?" Hermione glared at Draco.
" You have to drink it! Or else, how are you supposed to get better?" she said loudly.
" Fine, I'll drink it... But..." Draco gave Hermione a look.
Hermione closed her eyes, bracing herself for the worst.
" Only if you kiss me." Draco smirked, clearly enjoying every minute of Hermione's dilemma.
Hermione sighed as she looked at Draco.
" If I kiss you, you will drink your medicine and be good?" Hermione asked uncertainly.
"Yeah. " Draco said simply, yet astounded by the fact that Hermione was actually considering the kiss.
Hermione took a deep breath and after shooting a quick glare at Draco, she swooped down on him and gave him a kiss on his cheek that lasted no longer than a split second.
Draco's mouth opened and closed like a fish and his eyes were slightly wider than normal. In the second of Draco's hesitation, Hermione chucked the spoons of medicines into Draco's mouth and after seeing Draco swallow it, she smirked.
" Rest well." she said before leaving the room, ignoring Draco, who was dumbfounded.
